Rear axle air bag piston is broken we think that the rear air bag piston has no the correct strength. The right air bag piston failed and truck weight moved to right side this movement pull the drive axle to the right side and broke torque rod bolts; and left air bag piston. Short term solution is to replace rear air bag suspension and torque rod. Average Warranty Cost (per failure) USD $ 761. (does not include tax) Total Warranty Cost (all claims) USD $ 3,887.

On the table you could appreciate two M2 units. On the first one, is a 6x4 unit,the air bag piston is made in aluminium alloy. For the secondone, is a 6x2 unit, the air bag piston is made in a kind of plastic. I think that we need to check the weight capacity for each model.
Please note that the weight capacity for the 6x2 unit is bigger than 6x4 unit.
