WRITEN REPORT

project: Architecture and arts of XX century in the Boka Kotorska
time of realization: February - April 2004.
place: Kotor, Montenegro

Project included preparation and realization of event on 17th April 2004. on Architecture and arts
of XX century in the Boka Kotorska .

Event comprised:

Three lectures about local artist and architects that created in area of Boka Kotorska in XX
century (architects Milan Zlokovi and Nikola Dobrovi, artist Vojislav Stanic)
photo exhibition of contemporary architecture
film projection about architect Nikola Dobrovic

Participants:

1. Ljiljana Blagojevic, architect, Belgrade - lecture about architect Milan Zlokovi
2. Krunoslav Ivanisin, architect, Dubrovnik - presentation of his film about architect Nikola Dobrovi,
and lecture about Nikola Dobrovi.
3. Irina Subotic, art historian, professor, Belgrade - lecture about artist Vojislav Stanic (from Herceg
Novi, Montenegro )
4. Milica Lopicic, student of architecture, Belgrade - photo exhibition of contemporary architecture

Project phases:

I - Preparation phase, period February-March 2004

Preparation phase included:

- contacts with the participants detailed arrangement about the concept and context of lecture
and exhibition
- preparation of exhibition and lecture by participants
- design and printing of posters that will promote event- 1000 posters (format 25x70 cm, full color).
- design, printing and distribution of invitations 200 invitations (9x20 cm, both sides printed, full
color)
- design and print of exhibition catalogue - 200 pieces (9x45 cm, both sides printed, full color)
- developing photographsfor exhibition

- Invitations have been sent to:
1. Kotor, Tivat, Herceg Novi, Budva, Bar - cultural institutions and nongovernmental
organizations involved in culture,as well as individuals
2. Podgorica - Architectural Faculty, cultural institutions

3. Architectural faculty in Belgrade

- presentation of the event in media (in newspaper, on radio and TV, web) Kotor, Bar, Budva,
Herceg Novi, Cetinje, Podgorica, Tivat
- presentation of the event by EXPEDITIO mailing list www.expeditio.org and other mailing lists of
organizations involved in culture (A4, archiweb )
- organizing travel and accommodation for participants
- space provision in gallery Stari grad in Kotor
- space provision for lecture in Kotor
- provision of projector for lectures
note:

It was necessary to engage one extra person from Belgrade to coordinate process of printing, designing
and distributing material. That person was also present at event Architecture and art in Boka Kotorska of
20 century, so we had extra travel expenses (see financial report) but not honoraria.

NAME OF THE DONOR HAVE BEEN PUT UP ON POSTERS, CATALOGUES AND INVITATIONS.
DONOR HAS BEEN MENTIONED IN ALL MEDIA PRESENTATIONS IN ALL STAGES OF THE PROJECT.
