Blog Grading

1. FSO Instructor Stewart states, I would like to see the ideas in your post presented with a more
logical structure
Student avers that Instructor does not:
A. State that Students choice of structure was incorrect
B. She did not identify any structural errors in the post
C. Further, Student maintains that Instructors introduction; I would like to see, indicates personal preference rather
than mistakes that warrant an 11 point deduction from Content and Organization
2. Instructor further states, The writing style used in the post is difficult to read and follow
It is disturbing that a Graduate Level Instructor has difficulty reading and following a simple 300+ word Blog Post!
3. Instructor says, It is important that posts are written in a business tone, and are relevant to and of interest to the blogs audience.
Apparently, the Where is the Love? In the Face of Systematization blog post is not relevant to and of interest to the
blogs current audience, namely, FSO Instructor, Stewart personal subjectivity begins to surface

4. She further states, If the topic is not of interest to the primary audience of the blog, it is not easy to read and understand, and it
does not fit with the overall theme of the blog, it will not help the site show up
The personality type who has substantial difficulty reading and understanding topics that do not interest them should
never consider being a pedagogical professional For sure, lack of personal understanding has no bearing on whether a
post fits with the overall theme of the blog The author has maintained the same theme for the entire program at the
suggestion of previous instructors
5. Going forward, I would encourage you to consider topics that are more closely tied to managerial strategies for industry
professionals
This advice is absurd, as
A. A primary step in any marketing strategy is to identify & find ones market;
B. Directives include choosing blog topics that relate to Students Thesis Project;
C. Student is publishing a book entitled, Loving You Haiku; Sometimes It Rhymes
D. A blog series entitled Where is The Love is most apropos for such a project
