1. OBJECTIVE
Advance Aircraft Bridging Course Simulator Session objective is to familiarize trainee with:
- Multi-Crew Operation, concern to the general PF-PM (PNF) task sharing, duty and responsibility
- Twin engine jet aircraft handling characteristic
- General automation usage
- Review to the instrument flying and navigation
During the session, related aircraft type procedure conduct will not be evaluated as the instructor will
provide guidance for necessary procedure sequence. However instrument flying will be part of
evaluation.
Trainee is expected to make necessary preparation prior to session conduct, to each particular exercise
to be done.
2. INSTRUCTIONAL DELIVERY METHODS
In Simulator and/or Aircraft demonstrated by the pilot being trained.

DAY 1: FFS BRIEFING
OBJECTIVE
This session represents firstly an introduction to candidate for a multi crew operation with twin engine jet
aircraft. Instrument flying with radial/ bearing interception and radio communication ability are also
exercised to identify areas of weakness can be addressed. All of the automation feature, including Flight
Director will not be used. Use only (centered) VOR/ILS display for navigating (do not use MAP display)

DAY 2: FFS BRIEFING
OBJECTIVE
This session is concentrate on a thrust asymmetry aerodynamic effect. Flying close to VMCG and VMCA
condition will be introduced. Trainee expected to have good understanding concern to the thrust
asymmetry condition and consideration. Automation (except LNAV, VNAV) will be used, however AP and
AT will not be used for this session. FMA reading will be emphasized.

DAY 4 (CHECK): FFS BRIEFING
OBJECTIVE
This session apply as check session, trainee is required to show his ability to a multi crew concept and
instrument flying (i.e. interception, holding).
In the high altitude air work, trainee will be evaluated to a high altitude phenomena identification (ability to
recover from the condition is not required, as those will be exercised during type qualification training).
At the end of the lesson, trainee is expected to be ready to enter type qualification (transition) training
