TERMS OF REFERENCE (TOR)
Roles and Responsibilities
(A) Programs/ProjectsOperational/Management
1 overall management and coordination for uNDp/MEDEP/NEDc programs/projects
activities.
2. lmplement short- and long-term programs/projects
as per UNDP/MEDEp/NEDC
stfategic plans.
3. systems formuration and imprementation for the institutionarization
of uNDp/[rEDEp/NEDc.
4. Prepare proposals,
monthly, quarterly and annual reports and
periodicals
for documentation.
5. Establish linkages and working relationships with a broad range of development partners,
particularly Government of Nepar, Murtiraterar and Biraterar Agencies, uN Agencies, r/Ncos, cBos,
private sector and major stakeholders for efficient and effective implementation of
programs.
6. Provide instructions, supervision and performance
based evaluation of the entire staff members.
T Donor harmonization, communication, reporting and information dissemination on beharf of NEDc.
8. Provide guidance for the capacity buirding and institutionalization
of the district based BDSpos.
9. Prepare business development and work plans as per donor needs and implement on ground.
10. lvlonitor and manage the overall
programs/projects,
budget and explore prospective
funding.

and stakeholders on behatf of NEDC.

1 . Report to the President/Board as and when required and

2. Comply and implement the requests of the

Office Management
1. Ensure for the effective use of office resources, equipment and
programs/project
properties.
2. Develop and implement the administrative systems, procedures, practices for the effective
Programs/Projects operational actavities and document them forthe institutional memory.
3 lmplement administrative prans and poricies,
and ensure for staff and property
safety and security.
General Authorities for the Executive Director
1. The forthcoming board meeting will finalize.
Salary, Perks and Benefits
1 Your salary, perks,
benefits and other facilities such as annual leave, sick leave, casual leave.

fund, medical allowance, Dashain bonus, etc. will be based on UNDP/MEDp,s financial
rures, regulations and procedures
as per administrative/financial
agreement with uNDP/MEDEP. A
copy of UNDP/[rEDEp's administrative/financial agreement/contract
