my design

I dream about design, architecture and art which is simple and

modern. This design will suit us like our clothes. It will fit to our
bodies and to character of contemporary people.
In my projects art and design influence each other. Sculpture
helps architecture, painting have an effect on graphic.
On the other hand I attach importance to new technologies and
ecological aspect of my design.

transformation postindustrial building into library

place: existing, postindustrial building in the center of Corsico (province

of Milan, Italy); new function: main library of Corsico. Milan with its heavy,
monumental architecture is not friendly pleace to live in. The idea of the
project was to change it. The existing building was transformed in the
way to open interiors to outside’s surroundings. Interesting big spaces
of building were kept, new functions which needed acustic and visual
isolation were put into “boxes” which colors, material and shapes definitly
differ from the older structure. All unconstructional, exterior’s walls were
replaced with transparent surfaces in order to “open” building and as a
solutoion to lack of natural light inside the library.

the project of two family house

The starting point of the project was the idea of keeping the verdure found
on the parcel of ground and the idea of moving the house as near as pos-
sible towards the street in order to save the ground’s space. The house
is “flowing” round the trees, making the impresion that outside and inside
are penetrating each other. The way of shaping the elevation depends on
its position. The walls from the street’s side are high and almost without
windows and thus are equivalent of the fence. From the garden’s side
interiors are opening themselvs to the back-yard. Above: view from the
top; scale 1:200

modernization of existing interior - room of student of architecture

Interior was transformed in a way of making the best capital out

of existing metric volume. The basic project’s decision was to
separate the sleeping and the resting zone from the working zone.
The border is a transparent roler shade and a change in a level
of floor. The clear division of space makes it not neccessary to
clean up the place always after work. Unrolling the roler shade is
enough to find oneself in a homelike pleace that is reserved for
rest. There is no irritating mess.

the project of exhibition “Warsaw by night”

The way of showing objects on the exhibition emphasizes the atmosphere

of the photos. The city in the light of street’s lamps is disturbingly beauti-
ful. Like darkness at night is hiding from us its mystery, the pictures in the
show are “slipping away” from the spectator to the inaccesible corridors.
Suggested pleace for exhibition: city’s space in Warsaw. Material used in
the exhibition: own photos

the project of living space for one person, on the attic

The work consisted not only of projecting interior decoration, but first of
all of creating suitable architectural shape of interior in connection with
the whole building. I wanted to create an open space in which the existing
functions (work, cooking - kitchen annex, rest, sleep) were clearly stated,
but not in the way of dividing interior.
