    1. Power cycle unit and make sure the power is disconnected for at least 10secs
    2. Wait 1 min for the unit to power up
    4. Enter the PUK with the keypad. (do not enter the SIM PIN)
    5. Wait for the engaged dial tone (approximately 10 secs) then hang up.
    6. Pick up the handset and it should have a dial tone.
    7. The new SIM PIN is now the user PIN for the log port (the default is 9876).
