The fees to be paid by students each semester include tuition fees and semester fees. Students, visiting students, auditors, students in Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) and doctoral candidates are all invoiced for these fees automatically. They fees must always be paid using the payment slip enclosed with the invoice. Auditors pay at the cash desk when they enrol (HG F 67.1).

CHF 580 per semester) CHF 50.00 Teacher training teaching diploma for upper secondary schools and advanced-level education enrolment fee CHF 290.00 graduation fee CHF 290.00 Teaching certificate (DZ) enrolment fee CHF 290.00 Visiting students, auditors Per semester hour (to a max. of CHF 580 per semester) CHF 50.00 Independent work: Work with a duration up to three month CHF 290.00 Work with a duration up to six month CHF 580.00 Doctoral candidates pay a global fee of CHF 1200.00 Students in Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) programmes pay tuition fees for two semesters (CHF 1160), plus a contribution to costs as determined by the Executive Board. The total amount is to be paid in two equal part-payments during the first two semesters, regardless of the total duration of the respective programme. Students in courses leading to a Diploma/Certificate of Advanced Studies (DAS/CAS) pay the tuition fee for one semester (CHF 580) and a contribution to costs as determined by the Executive Board. Terms of payment are different for each course. Reminder charges (payable with second reminder) CHF 50.00

The fees for Bachelor, Master and diploma examinations are included in the tuition fees. Doctoral candidates

5. COSTS OF MATERIALS (in the laboratories in the departments BIOL, CHAB, ERDW, HEST and USYS) Invoices are sent out at the end of the semester by the Accounting Department of ETH Zurich. Charges are for actual materials obtained.
