At preseut, a |arge uumber of lustitutes iu the State are offeriug a Post 6raduate degree iu Mauagemeut. As per AlCTE
uorms, the teacher-studeut ratio for such programmes is expected to be 1:6O. lu most iustitutes there is a dearth of M8A
teachers both iu terms of uumbers aud iu terms of desired qua|ificatious.
heuce there is au urgeut ueed for a programme to deve|op aud traiu M8A facu|ty. 8esides, such a course wi|| give au optiou
to M8A studeuts to coutiuue with academics after comp|etiou of their course iustead of joiuiug the corporate sector by
defau|t.
At preseut there is a pressiug shortage of qua|ity facu|ty iu Mauagemeut. This requiremeut of the Mauagemeut schoo|s
wi|| be addressed by the M. Phi|. Programme.
The wor|d of Mauagemeut is of a fast-chaugiug dyuamic uature. Coustaut study aud research is M. Phi|. Programme
wi|| meet this requiremeut of pressiug forward the froutiers of luow|edge aud dissemiuatiou of updated iuformatiou iu

Systems, 0peratious, hR8 08, Pub|ic Systems Mauagemeut, Socia| We|fare. For each area of specia|i/atiou there wi|| be a
bouquet of papers offered fromwhich each studeut wi|| opt for two papers. A|| the differeut areas of specia|i/atiou may uot
uecessari|y be offered each year. The areas of specia|i/atiou to be offered each year wi|| depeud upou the studeuts' area of
iuterest.
