Conclusions
Despite the redundancy of the system, invariant features were
observed across subjects in terms of the capabilities of the
grasp, which are related to the task requirements.
It seems that the selected postures for some tasks were close
to optimal for maximizing torque / force production
capability under stiffness constraints.
