TORO offers
The unique performance of TORO 40/50 series trucks
is based on high payloads in relation to own weight,
excellent manoeuvrability, and high speed in inclines.
PRODUCTIVITY
TORO 40 offers payload capacity of 40,000 kg while
the TORO 50 transports payloads up to 50,000 kg.
The new TORO 50 Plus provides additional power
and additional monitoring features with the 50 ton
payload capacity.
Each member of the TORO 40/50 series is a 4-wheel drive,
articulated vehicle based on similar designs. Common to
each are the small envelope size and the reliable heavy-duty
transmission, a converter with lock-up and axels made by
Dana SOH.
The low prole of every TORO truck means that tunnel sizes
can be minimized, and higher payloads can be transported
even in small tunnels. On level ground driving speed with full
load is 45 km/h forward. Ramp gradients may be up to 20%.
Thanks to the short turning radius of 4.9 m inside and 9.0 m
outside the TORO 50 truck is extremely easy to manoeuvre.
Discharging time is 13 seconds and tipping angle 62 degrees
for clean dumping.
