announce the installation of the Bahia Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG Re!asification

order to pro$ide the conditions to install the terminal#

b+=side doc-ing s+stem, in other words, the regasi$ier )essel will be moored to an island=t+*e *ier with a
single berth%
>ith the direct connection with the s&**l+ )essel, the LNG trans$er *rocess will be accom*lished
thro&gh short hoses or loading arms% "n the regasi$ier )essel, the LNG will be trans$ormed $rom the
li6&id to gaseo&s state% The $&el will then be injected into the gas *i*eline networ- b+ means o$ a *i*eline
that meas&res 22 inches in diameter and is ,< -ilometers long, 13 -ilometers o$ which in a s&bmarine

;rade "sland, and interconnect with the gas *i*eline networ- at two sites? the $irst in the ahia networ-,
in Candeias, while the second at -ilometer <10 o$ the Cacimbas=Cat& 'GA8CAC( gas *i*eline, a section o$
the 8o&theast=Northeast Gas Pi*eline 'GA8BNB(, which was ina&g&rated in March 2010% @e*lo+ing the
connection at this site will add $le4ibilit+ and reliabilit+ to the gas *i*eline networ- o*eration and e)en
