Course Description:
A review of the basic principles of physical chemistry and a discussion of the evolution and chemical composition of the
Earth's atmosphere; half-life, residence, and renewal time; sources, transformation, transport and sinks of gases in the
atmosphere; atmospheric aerosols; chemical cycles; air pollution; and statospheric chemistry.
