Pupil Premium Grant Expenditure and Impact Report: Reports 2013/14

This is allocated to school based on 900 per pupil for all pupils eligible for a free school
meal (FSM) and for all pupils who have been eligible for free school meals at any point
during the last 6 years (Ever 6). An additional 53 per pupil is allocated in January 2014
for each pupil to the school budget.

In making provision for socially disadvantaged pupils, the governors and staff of Balby
Central Primary recognise that not all pupils who receive FSM will be socially
disadvantaged; we also recognise that not all pupils who are socially disadvantaged are
registered for FSM. We therefore endeavour to allocate the funding to support pupils
the school identifies.

Commentary
Identified Pupil Premium Children predominantly benefit from initiatives implemented. The total
cost of the spending plan for the financial year 2013/14 cuts across two academic years so the
impact of the strategy will be evaluated in year two through the scrutiny and analysis of results.
