Squadbay Set to Deploy to Kurdistan for Third International Mission with Combat Veterans

Iraqi interpreter and best selling author Johnny Walker joins those risking it all to help
(For Immediate Release) - Las Vegas, NV - No better friend is the motto of Veteran founded
and operated Squadbay (www.squadbay.org), an unparalleled non-profit organization which
helps Veterans by helping others internationally via humanitarian missions and aid delivery.
Recently completing successful missions in both the Philippines and Guatemala, Squadbay has
announced its most dangerous project to date - a bold and fearless initiative into a terrain most
are fleeing due to violent and unsafe circumstances created by ISIS. This winter, Squadbay
and its partners, at Kurdistans request, will deploy into the region to bring much needed
resources, manpower and aid, as the world watches displaced, innocent families fleeing for
survival as the fighting continues and US bombing spreads into Iraq.
We look forward to working with Kurdistan and its partners on bringing peace and
prosperity to the region, while solidifying a long lasting friendship between American military
veterans, Kurdish officials, Peshmerga and citizens of the region, comments Luigino Lobello,
Squadbay Founder/CEO.
Joining the mission is Iraqi interpreter and NYTs best selling author (code name) Johnny
Walker, famous for his exploits and loyalty to his former contractor, the U.S. Navy Seals.
Walker will prepare and deploy alongside of SBs combat Veterans, forming an unprecedented
partnership between the citizens of a country and the military Veterans that fought within it.
Rarely does a project of this importance develop without fostering agendas of monetary gain
or nationalism, but Squadbays members remain focused on providing humanitarian aid
and social leverage to communities in crises and civil unrest. Kurdistan is experiencing
resource needs unlike almost anywhere else on earth, and Squadbay is answering the call at
a time when others simply do not have the courage to engage. Response to the opportunity
has been massive, with over 100 veterans requesting additional information for the mission
within the first hour of its announcement. Due to the unstable nature of the Kurdish landscape
currently, this deployment requires specially selected participants to complete a mission later
this year in preparation and for the entire teams deployment in Spring 2015.
Continues Lobello, Our first priority is to identify communities in most need and work
with them to conduct assessments, administered and designed by local leadership.
After determining a plan of action, our volunteers design programs that can be
sustained through our in-country partners, with little to no outside agency assistance.
