Worked as Team Coordinator on projects in the domain of
Mainframes for the Initial Learning Program (ILP) of 3 months

Was rewarded with a rating of 5 which amounts to over 125%
of ones effort towards organizational growth & was also
awarded the Star Performer Honor.

Designed & developed a Virtual Keyboard that worked by
monitoring cursor positions, an idea acclaimed by the reviewers
as innovative and a first of its kind.

Also developed a dynamic graph for mainframe systems, with
an auto-varying scale according to data fetched from the
database. Taking into consideration the fact that graphic
projection in mainframes is next to impossible, this idea was
greatly applauded by one and all.

B.Tech. Final Year Project

Congestion Adaptive Back-
off Algorithm
January March 2012
Designed a new back-off algorithm, namely Congestion
Adaptive Back-off (C.A.B.) Algorithm for Wireless AdHoc
Networks.

The algorithm aims at the reduction of average back-off time of
the nodes with increase in throughput & fairness in a wireless
network. For this purpose, we proposed encompassing the
network traffic in the calculation of the contention window
size. Using this algorithm, only the nodes affected by congestion
in a particular region of the network update their back-off
counters while other nodes continue transmission undisturbed.
