Installation Readme
This package installs the following Intel WIFI module Canyon Peak,Marble Peak,Ta
ylor Peak for Microsoft Windows 8
- version : 15.5.0.42
This update requires approximately 9MB of space on your hard drive.
Print this file so that you can refer to it during the installation.

Install the Drivers in Microsoft Windows
1.When the Found New Hardware Wizard appears, click Cancel.
2.Insert the installation CD into the CD or DVD drive.
3.On the installation CD, open the folder containing the driver installer progra
m (Autorun.exe), and then double-click Autorun.exe to launch the InstallShield?
Wizard.
4.Click Next to continue.
5.After you review the license agreement, click I accept the terms in the licens
e agreement, and then click Next to continue.
6.Click Install.
7.Click Finish to close the wizard.

Uninstalling the Driver
1.In Control Panel, double-click Add or Remove Programs.
2.Click Intel PORSet/Wireless WiFiSoftware, and then click Remove.
3.Click Yes to remove the drivers.
4.Click OK.

Update the driver
1.Start Windows and log on.
2.In Control Panel, click System to view System Properties.
3.Click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager.
4.Right-click the name of the network Controller and click Update Driver.
5.Click Include this location in the search, browse to the folder on the install
ation CD where the drivers are located, and then click Next.
6.Click Finish to close the wizard.

Silent install
For silent installation, run commands at the command prompt.
Notes:
*All commands are case sensitive.
*The Command Prompt must be "Run as Adminstrator" when using "msiexec" for "sile
nt" install/uninstall(s).

Silent Install from within the installer source folder:
Win8 32bit OS: Win32\Install\Setup.exe /qn
Win8 64bit OS: Win64\Install\Setup.exe /qn
