RTI Meeting Plan

2014 2015




Rationale:
The staff of Pope Elementary strongly believe in the importance of regularly scheduled,
authentic and meaningful collaboration. The focus of periodic grade level RTI meetings is to
analyze intentionally collected data, evaluate the effectiveness of interventions implemented,
and collaboratively adjust instructional/intervention plans based on the evidence gathered.

The staff recognizes it will take a commitment of their time and focused energy to make these
meetings meaningful and to have an impact on our instruction and ultimately our students
overall achievement.

RtI Meeting Plan
The following RTI meeting plan and schedule will be implemented during the 2014 2015
school year.

Frequency:
Grade Level RTI Meetings will be held on a rotating schedule with each team meeting
approximately once every 7 weeks.

Duration:
Meetings will be limited to 45 minutes

Day:
Mondays (some exceptions) Exceptions will be agreed upon between grade level teams and the
principal

Time:
8:15 9:00




Time Compensation

The administrative team appreciates the commitment of the staff to ensuring this important
work takes place and acknowledges the loss of planning time. The following times will be
provided as compensation for lost planning time:

Each Grade level will meet 4 times this year
4 meetings X 45 minutes = 3 hours of sacrificed planning time
