the ISO that we currently have in our NatLab server is a Windows XP 32-bit ISO. Accordingly,
we will be creating a Windows XP VM and will perform manual operating system
installation. Please login to your DreamSpark Account to get the product key for Win XP
32-bit

Document your configuration through the following screenshots:
1. Task 1, Step 11, showing that the new virtual machine appears in the inventory
2. Task 2, Step 3, notice that the auto install function will not work with the Win XP
ISO that is hosted in our Netlab. Please continue with the standard, manual
installation of Win XP. Take a screenshot of the desktop when the installation is
complete. If the mouse cursor is locked in the virtual machine console, press and
hold Ctrl+Alt and move the mouse to release the cursor. You should be able to
release Ctrl+Alt and move the mouse accordingly.

4. Task 4, Step 6, a message showing successful installation of VMware tools

create a folder under the C drive and name it shared apps then copy the two
files to the shared apps folder. Take a screenshot showing that both the
cpubusy.vbs and iometer.exe files have been successfully copied to the shared
apps folder under the C drive.

3. Task 3, Step 17, showing the <your-name>-CustomSpec as such:

4. Task 4, Step 13, showing the 3 clones and that they were created properly through
the template and the sysprep tool: The machines booted successfully WITHOUT you having to
enter a product key (this should have been done automatically through sysprep); VMware tools
are installed; and the C drive contains the following folders: dell and shared apps as shown here:

5. Task 5, Step 10, showing all four virtual machines including the HotClone-1 VM
as depicted here:
