CHAPTER 1

INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK

1.1 AIM OF THE PROJECT
The Main Aim of the Project is to Deliver the Cash Faster and Easier in Emergency
when ATM Card Holder is Out of tation !sing "M#
1.2 INTRODUCTION
$hen the ATM card holder is out of station and if any emergency transaction has to %e
done it is very difficult for the Card holder to reach the distant &lace and com&lete the
transactions and it ta'es very long time# Hence %y using this Project Cash transactions can %e
done Faster and Easier without any ATM card# $hen the ATM card holder is out of station
then in such conditions in case of any cash transactions to %e done urgently then he(she can
&ay %y sending the e)ecutive to the nearest ATM Centre* telling him to insert his(her "M
+M card into the "M Module which is &rovided to the ATM Machine# Then a message is
%een sent to the Card Holder Mo%ile num%er from that "M num%er* re,uesting for the
&assword then if the Card Holder enters the &assword and send it to the "M +M num%er
which is inserted in the "M Module at the ATM centre then the ATM Machine will %e
activated under the Card Holder ATM and then the e)ecutive who is at the ATM centre can
ty&e the amount and can collect the money at the ATM Centre# After the Transaction is
com&leted a message is again send to the Card Holder Mo%ile num%er which indicates the
amount drawn %y the e)ecutive at the ATM Centre#
Thus %y using this Project* the ATM Money Transfer can %e achieved without ATM
card and with the &ermission of ATM Card Holder* %y &roviding a "M Module at each
and every ATM Centre and %y inserting a "M +M into that "M Module#

PROJECT CIRCUITRY
2.1 CIRCUIT DIAGRAM:
Fig: 4#0 Circuit Diagram of Project
2.2 CIRCUIT ANALYSIS:
Microcontroller used in this &roject is AT-.C/0; all the com&onents are interfaced to
the MC AT-.C/0 as shown in the a%ove Circuit Diagram#
Port < of the MC is interfaced to the 2ey&ad which allows the e)ecutive at the ATM
Centre to ty&e the Amount needed#
Port 4 of the MC is interfaced to the 1CD dis&lay Data lines =D< > D?@#
The witches connected to the &ins 0A and 0/ =P5#A and P5#/@ of the MC are &laced to
select the ATM card user# witch connected to the &in 0A selects the !ser0 and switch
connected to the &in 0/ selects !ser4#
MA3B454 is interfaced with the MC &ins 0< and 00 =P5#< and P5#0@#
"M Module is connected to the MC through 6B454 and MA3B454# A "M +M
will %e inserted into this Module and a !ser is select using the switches &rovided# As soon as
the +M is inserted and the ATM Card !ser is selected "M Module will send a message
re,uesting for the &assword or &inBcode of the ATM to the "M Mo%ile of the ATM Card
!ser selected# The ATM card user now sends the &inBcode of the ATM* this message is
received %y the "M Module and if that &inBcode is the correct &inBcode* ATM Machine will
%e activated# Cow the e)ecutive at the ATM Centre can ty&e the Amount needed and can
collect the cash at the ATM Centre#
A Motor Driver +C 14.5D is also connected to the MC AT-.C/0 &ins / and D =P0#A
and P0#/@* which is used to driver a DC Motor indicating that the transaction is going on#
A 7u88er circuit is also &rovided and connected to the MC AT-.C/0 &in 5 =P0#4@* this
7u88er indicates the com&letion of the transaction# As soon as the transaction is
com&leted "M Module sends a confirmation message to the ATM Card !ser Mo%ile
indicating the amount drawn from the user account# Then the e)ecutive can collect the
"M +M which is inserted into the "M Module#
