Get prepared to arrive with a bang
THERE are only a few weekends left un-
til Christmas 2014 arrives with a bang.
And, as we head into winter, the thought
of a fabulous Christmas party could help
chase those winter blues away. Being or-
ganised in October is a great way to make
sure your festivity goes with a bang.
Many venues will already be advertis-
ing their Christmas menus and functions
and booking early will ensure you secure
your perfect party place. So grab your
party comrades and get planning. Start
by discussing dates with everyone. Get-
ting a rough idea of suitable dates can
help when booking and also, as diaries
tend to fill up fast for Christmas, will en-
sure you get a good turnout on the day.
Next is to decide on a venue and to de-
cide what kind of party is wanted. Din-
ner and a dance, for example, can be an
excellent choice for large groups, such
as a works do. Watch out for packages
Chinese and pub favourites. Make sure
you check everyones food preferences
and for any allergies or special dietary
requirements. Booking early is also es-
sential to make sure you get your first
choice and it can also help to have a
longer period of time to spread any cost
involved. Also, its not too early to think
about transport. Arranging a mini-bus
for everyone or taxis can really make a
difference for a night out. Not only does
it means everyone gets to relax and not
worry about getting home at the end of
the night, you can also ensure everyone
will get home safely too!
that offer not only
a great meal but
also entertainment
and many will of-
fer good deals for
large groups.
A good meal out
is a classic way to
celebrate the fes-
tive season and
nothing beats a
Christmas dinner
with friends. There
are some fabulous
pubs and restau-
rants around to
cater for your meal
