1.0 Time Context
The problem can be notice at the fourth paragraph of the case. It states the inability of most producers to come up with quality packaging that would attract Japanese consumers. This will gives an idea to the different manufacturing companies on how they can produce a quality packaging of goods at a lower cost to attract substantial attention.

Q1. What will be the probable handicap of Filipino producers in exporting food stuffs to Japan? How will their products fare with local prolducts in the Japanese market? Illustrate.
Asnwer: The presumptive drawback of Filipino producers in exporting food stuffs to japan would result to the scarcity of resources. Filipinos would be experiencing lack of resopurces use in the production and consumption processess. Japanese products are of higher quality than Filipino products because they are highlly implementing the Total Quality Management and the quality packaging.
Q2. What if they could do better together with exporters from other countries? Illustrate.
Answer: If they would do better together with the exporters from other countries, they could be able to produce their own products with of high quality. This could lead to the improvement of their products as well as the development of the economy. Producing a high quality products and packaging can create an overwhelming acceptance of the buyers to build the so called loyalty or the repeat purchase of the buyers.
Q3. Assuming the condition in No.2, what would be the effect of the welfare of japanese consumers if their government imposed an import quota to enforce them to consume more of local products? Illustrate.
Answer: The welfare of the japanese consumers would be lessen. This might cause to their unwilllingness to buy a local products for consumpltion. This is because they preffered to use exported goods which meet their satisfaction. When this will happen, Japanese would be suffer from the decline of their revenues which result to bankruptcy also the loss of some loyal customers.
