A Reaction Paper

Maybe, I am now convinced with the idea that lazy mans way to a
fortune is buying vacant lots or farm lands, wherein the most prominent
businessman in Ilocos Norte, Mr. Avelino P. Sales, ventured in the world of
real state by acquiring and selling personal properties giving birth to the
known Pearl Heights Subdivision in Laoag City and the founder and president
of Asian Pearl Construction and Development Corporation, one of the leading
construction companies in Ilocos Norte.
Though the team were not all degree holders in line of business, (Nyre
Sales-Alcantara, a BS Biology graduate, Clarissa Sales-Baarslag, an AB
Political Science graduate,
and Grace Sales, Law and
Information Technology
degree holder), having the
entrepreneurial spirit
running through the veins of
Sales family (a licensed real
state brokers, contractors,
entrepreneurs, business
development managers) is
enough to say why the Asian
Pearl Construction and
Development Corporation has become a distinguished private corporation in
the world of real estate and construction not only in the Philippines but also
abroad.
I believe business communication played a vital role in this kind of
business. To communicate with others, to convince and to find the
compromise, to listen and speak these are what the life consists of and the
business life especially. The more the business expands, the greater is the
pressure on the business to find more effective means of communication both
with the employees and with the society at large. They take the time to
identify and build relationships with key peers, mentors, and advisors. This
inner network provides support, direction, and an increased number of people
to assist.

Customer centric, the business success has an unwavering
commitment to the customer. This commitment encompasses a mindset of
understanding the customers' world. Thats maybe one of their secrets why
the business has earned a
greater opportunity receiving a
loyal customer not only in the
province but also in other
provinces in the country and
abroad as well as evidenced in
their list of projects.


A business can consume
an owner's time and energy,
and for the Sales family, the
business is all about their time
and energy. The team is
composed of the kin itself so
they can spend all their time
and energy for the business.


Technology can be a business owner's best friend and it is good to know
that Asian Pearl Construction and Development Corporation has its own
website and facebook account. It can help them work more efficiently, find
more customers and save money while doing it.


To sum up with, the secret may be the owners discipline in managing
their personal finances and business cash flow. A well-crafted business plan,
attracting an influential board, being in the right place at the right time. They
are the entrepreneurs who had a great business idea that made their dreams
come true.
