However, sometimes mobile phone can cause us many problems .The advantages or disadvantages of using mobile phones depend on the way how we can use it in right ways or in wrong ways. losses. Even through cell phone is quite important for many different field of professions, entertainment of mobile phone is now overstep its basic needed in daily life. Addiction of cell phones Popularity of cell phones has grown tremendously over the past few years. People of different ages use cell phones with different preferences. Cell phone addiction is at its peak these days. Users are addicted to cell phones to the extent that they are actually not interested in their personal health. Teenagers in the US believe that they can do nothing without cell phones. The cell phone usage in the work site has adverse affects on the workers focus, attention, safety, and efficiency and production level. It is also a threat to the privileged company's privacy and their internal communication.
Cell phone addiction can be defined as continued involvement with one's cell phone despite of knowing the negative consequences associated with it. A user can use his/her cell phone while doing almost anything and he/she gets so used to of using cell phones while doing some other work simultaneously that it becomes a normal activity for them and they do not even realize that involvement with their phone is becoming an addiction. Staying connected is becoming an obsession for a growing number of people these days. Cell phones are now even termed as the new cigarettes; seeing as how people use them in elevators, take cell phone breaks on the job, chat away while driving, walking, eating. Raising population of cell phone addiction From a historical perspective, cell phone addiction was showed up at many magazines and newspaper since the smart phone was invented. One cannot imagine ones life without the mobile phone. Even President Obama is said to be addicted to his Blackberry. Nevertheless, people argue that they use mobile phone only for contacting and researching, hence, there is no need to be worried that cell phone addiction could have bad affect to people. In fact, people now are not only using cell phone for calling or texting, also, even the more of them are using cell phone to play games. According to Keith Stuart, who is the famous reporter from the Guardian newspaper, said, There are over 14 million out of 37 million cell phone subscribers in Korea who play mobile games. To put it another way, four out of every 10 people are mobile gamers. More specifically, 2.3 million play mobile games every day, accounting for 6.2 percent of the total cell phone subscribers, including 15 percent of cell phone users in their teens and twenties. We can see how high the rate of mobile game addicts is. People in 21 st century are using more time to play games instead of doing regular calling, most of them are teenagers, they are young and passion, once they are attacked by the new 6 | P a g e
technology, they could no longer be controlled, going to deep to the mobile games would definitely harm you, the same as gambling and drug, they might lost the ability to pull themselves out. Youngsters 'addicted to mobile phones Using mobile phone distributes our communication to make it easier than before. Besides a mobile phone can provide us with a lot of functions like relaxing with music, chatting or playing games. However, today people especially young people are becoming addicted to using the mobile phone. Surveys have consistently shown that young people even prefer their mobile phone to television or the Internet They can not stay away from their phones, even for a minute. The addiction of children to their mobile phones could threaten the very fabric of society, a study suggests. Many teenagers are fanatical about being always available and are extremely uneasy if unable to contact their friends countless times each day.
If the trend continues, young people will soon be incapable of forming and maintaining relationships without the help of a mobile. A study suggests that One Indian child in every six between the ages of five and 16 now has a mobile phone. It is childrens favourite method of communication with younger adolescents (school years 7 to 9) more attached to their mobile phones than older adolescents (school years 10 to 12). Even poor children used to have cell phone these days.
Youngsters are using their handsets to send millions of text messages to friends each day. They can be seen taking advantage of every spare minute to touch base with their friends. 'It is not the content of the communication but the act of staying in touch that matters. 'Moreover, genuine conversation will be driven out by superficial communication, in which the act of contacting one another is all that matters, leading to a deterioration in the quality of relationships. Indeed, the very fabric of society may be threatened.
Also Mobile phone has now become a status symbol for most students these days. The features of the phone, the appearance and personalised accessories all attest to the phones status. It is seen as a fashion accessory that satisfies the need for individualisation by having choices in mobile wallpaper, ring tones, phone covers, carry bags and other accessories and yet also signifies being part of the peer group since it has become a trend these days that to be a part of a group, it is necessary that a child must have a cell phone otherwise, he will be left out. Indeed, even the ownership of a mobile 7 | P a g e
phone indicates that one is socially connected, accessible and in demand. It can also be seen as a symbol of independence from ones family.
Youngsters use it to keep up to date with a wide group of acquaintances; so that when they meet up they know the latest news and gossip. These days, the mobile now often substitutes for physical play. Youngsters prefer to play games on mobile instead of physical activities which affects their health as well as their relationships because to develop proper friendships you have to invest time with people, doing things together. As speaking on the phone and sending lots of text messages will give children many more acquaintances but fewer friends. They are replacing quality with quantity.'
Sociologists have also warned that the popularity of e-mailing, text messaging and playing games on mobile phones is affecting other important activities such as recreational reading and studying. Students today have become so addicted to their mobile phones that they used to carry them at all places be it a school, a college. During lectures, they are often found playing games on their phones or texting their friends thus paying no attention to the teachers lectures. Thus, the very essence of education is lost. Such people use their phone to make them feel better. These users even seem to increase their phone use over time to get the same feeling that they had when they first began using them. There are also some anxiety issues when the user does not have his phone available.
However, using mobile phones too much not only affects health but also causes some personal problems and limiting communication face to face.

Negative Consequences of Cell Phone Addiction Mobile phone has become crucial part of our life. One of the most important functions of the phone is that it helps the communication become easier and quicker. However it also causes a lot of problem in communicating. Firstly, cell phone use has effects on the direct human to human interaction. Talking on the cell phones is gradually replacing the communication face to face between people. There was a time when the purpose of a telephone was to convey the important messages and not many people owned telephones .Thus, to talk together about something, they often met directly. Today owning a cell phone is held as a necessity and anyone including children has their cell phone. Therefore, the communication face to face between people is limited. Now a days, friends like chatting together for hours by mobile phone so they do not have anything to tell together when meeting at school. With many functions of the cell phone, the young can listen to music anytime they want. By using a headphone, people can enjoy some video, some music all time without annoying anyone. However, one effect of listening by earphones for a long time is that it damages our ear, even it can cause deaf .Moreover, the excessive use of cell phones causes teens and young adults to experience restlessness and it can make them feel difficult to fall asleep. It is an obvious fact that using cell phones too much can affect our brain, cause sleep loss and damage our ears.

lot of drivers listen to cell phone conversations while they are driving on the road. Consequently, they can cause dangerous accidents for other drivers on the road. Getting caught up in a conservation on a cell phone can lead to the loss of focusing and highly distracted driving .Furthermore, it is generally observed that drivers using cell phones often forget to give proper signals, disobey street signs and tend to cut lanes without warning .It is such a careless driving that results in many crashes and fatalities every day. Therefore, our government should give the law to ban drivers from using mobile phones while driving.
Besides, another result of using phones too much is the expenses for cell phone cards every month. We often spend a lot of money using mobile phone. For example, if you talk to your friends a lot on cell phone, it can spend about 1 thousands rupees every week so it costs you 30 thousands rupees for a month. Not only the expenses for cell phone cards, sometimes using phones in a public places also causes some problems.
We can see some rude people who speak loudly in public places, particularly in libraries, trains and theatres, which disturb other people a lot. As another example, the camera of mobile phones sometimes disturbs a persons privacy. Some people use the Bluetooth and the camera in a bad purpose. For example, they sneakily take photos of some girls in the public places such as swimming pool or spa and spread those photos to the internet. Thus, cell phones often invade the privacy of people.
Thus, the Cell phones do make life easier, but you should not lose sight of the fact that there is a life without them.

Mobile phone addiction, the newest cigarette in the world, has perplexed many peoples life quality and the relationship with others. Staying connected is becoming an obsession for a growing number of people these days. No matter how helpful the cell phone is, we cannot ignore its bad impact to human-being. In conclusion, cell phone addiction is more dangerous than one thought, while you enjoy playing with its entertainment software, never treat your phone lightly that it consumes 10 | P a g e
your soul in the end. Thus, the advantages or disadvantages of using mobile phones depend on the way how we can use it in right ways or in wrong ways.
