In the EDM-View the details for the equipment information with counter mechanism are set for the installation. This is used to manage the following data: - Formula profile (hourly values): Sum for the exit nomination of exit settlement - Profiles for metering (preliminary and finally) of entry nomination for entry settle- ment - Profile for calorific values for entry storage into the network
In the view of the capacity of the exit point, for every transport customer the following in- formation will be shown:
- Hourly profile: Exit nomination - Hourly profile: Capacities from package reservations - Daily profile: Stand of the working gas account (identical for entry and exit point) - Daily profile: Maximal stand for working gas account (from package reservations, identical for entry and exit point)
1.3.3 Operating Balancing Agreement The Operating Balancing Agreement (OBA) is an agreement between an operator at an entry and the nominator of non-assignable residual amounts on the distribution. During the nomination process, the divergences between the target and the physical memo- ry on the operating mode of the operator control account (OBA) are posted. For this purpose
12 CX4U Solutions GmbH & Co. KG, Theaterwall 10, D-26122 Oldenburg, Geschftsfhrer Dr. Peter Rgge, Tel.: +49 (441) 779359-0, Fax: +49 (441) 779359-20, Internet: www.cx4u.com, info@cx4u.com, HRA 200275 an "Operating Balancing Agreement" has to be signed between the storage facility operator and the network operator. The goal is a balanced account. A negative balance of the network operators control account means a shortage of the net against the storage, while a positive account balance an exceed of the networks against the storage represents. Thereby saving on the nomination will be deducted from the measured value, while deducted from the measured value of the nomination.
Saving of Storage Nomination 100.000 kWh Measurement 90.000 kWh Shortage of storage OBA -10.000 kWh
Nomination 100.000 kWh Measurement 110.000 kWh Exceed of storage OBA +10.000 kWh
Removal of storage Nomination 100.000 kWh Measurement 90.000 kWh Shortage of removal OBA +10.000 kWh
Nomination 100.000 kWh Measurement 110.000 kWh Exceed of removal OBA -10.000 kWh Table 2: Example for the determination of the OBA balance In the OBA agreement, the limit values for the network operators control account are de- fined and how to respond to higher limits is described, too.
The parties agree that a balance account (network operators control account), if technically possible, is the major goal and the differences between target nomination and physi- cal behaviour of the storage are supervised by hourly measured values.
The presentation of the OBA account is in the coregas Gasstation Display.

KG, Theaterwall 10, D-26122 Oldenburg, Geschftsfhrer Dr. Peter Rgge, Tel.: +49 (441) 779359-0, Fax: +49 (441) 779359-20, Internet: www.cx4u.com, info@cx4u.com, HRA 200275 2 Capacity management coregas for TSO has the possibility to check for free capacities and therefore it crosschecks the numbers of connected pipelines. The capacity check is based on available and market capable transport capacities of the segments of the transport system. coregas for TSO has the ability to control the network-capacity for different transport sce- narios (grid points, workload, flow direction, etc.). coregas for TSO supports the control of the requested transport capacities versus the availa- ble capacities regarding to the different workload scenarios short, middle and long range intervals. coregas for TSO has functionalities for all transport routes, transport section routes, trans- port sub section routes and capacity workload scenarios to collect and maintain at least data for: Unique identifier of the transport segments Technical attributes of the transport segments Unique identifier of the transport sub-segments based on a transport segment in an n: 1 relationship Technical attributes of the transport sub-segments (e.g. basic capacity) Unique identifier for load scenarios Technical attributes for load scenarios
coregas for TSO maps the various network topologies and network levels with the appropri- ate network points relationship. Each of the net available capacity is shown. The network points are connected with all necessary segments for showing all relations be- tween the partially overlapping transport relations and all network points (which are listed in the transport contract and the internet).
The path from an interconnection point to another (entry/exit) will be shown in coregas for TSO through the entry to exit point matrix.
15 CX4U Solutions GmbH & Co. KG, Theaterwall 10, D-26122 Oldenburg, Geschftsfhrer Dr. Peter Rgge, Tel.: +49 (441) 779359-0, Fax: +49 (441) 779359-20, Internet: www.cx4u.com, info@cx4u.com, HRA 200275 coregas for TSO identifies all possible transport paths and sub paths to a particular transport, the results from a point-to-point service provided for clients booking. To check the possible requested transport capacities, coregas for TSO calculates based on booked capacities and reserved capacities possible free capacities for single sub path and network points. For further processing, the following data of coregas for TSO is considered: Take-over or entry point Interconnection or entry point Load-scenario Fixed / interruptible Start date of the transport service End date of transport service Requested capacity profile (m3/h) Gas pressure (entry and exit) Gas quality
coregas for TSO shows the results of previously executed controlled capacities in a tabular structure: Entry-/exit point (characteristically classification) Transport path (characteristically classification) Transport segment (characteristically classification) Minimal capacity Current maximum capacity Nominated fixed capacity Available capacity Nominated interruptible capacity A list of all transport segments and sub segments (all assigned, provisionally assigned and available capacities) will be processed. coregas for TSO correlates transport segments and network points with their summed allo- cated capacity. If a capacity within a transport path has a state reserved / available or
16 CX4U Solutions GmbH & Co. KG, Theaterwall 10, D-26122 Oldenburg, Geschftsfhrer Dr. Peter Rgge, Tel.: +49 (441) 779359-0, Fax: +49 (441) 779359-20, Internet: www.cx4u.com, info@cx4u.com, HRA 200275 booked assigned, coregas for TSO will regard this in further processes as not changeable. Additionally the state effectively reserved can be given for further capacity planning. The booking process or the reservation of transport capacities can be revoked. Therefore the state of the capacity must be released from reserved/offered, booked or requested to free and the quantities of the available capacities must be checked. If enough capacities are available for a specific request, the state will be changed to YES. In the event that one or more entry-exit capacities and transport segments can be used for this interrupt, the availability state will be set to interruptible. In all other cases coregas for TSO will set the available state on NO. In order to hold the resulting rejection of the requested capacity for a later revision, coregas for TSO can save capacity situations (e.g. transport quantity, etc.). coregas for TSO calculates future transport requests based on the net structure. Therefore coregas for TSO creates offer/ request scenarios for nodes and transport segments based on net segments. The load scenario monitor displays the flow situations or a virtual flow situation within the pipelines and identifies the points where a capacity may be interrupted because of the fact that it runs short. Each capacity contract is assigned to a corresponding capacity load scenario. Capacity checks are performed against corresponding load scenarios. A capacity overload from the load sce- nario to the contract has to be avoided. coregas for TSO is able to analyse the capacity request based on offer/ request scenarios and current overload in the net.
2.1 Presentation of capacity-relevant time-series The Presentation of the corresponding time series can be pictured by tabular presentation and Graphical presentation.

The operating pressure of the gas, the gas temperature and the compressibility factor serve as possible input parameters. The compressibility factor can be calculated according to the standard procedure of the American Gas Association, which has been described in the report 8 (AGA 8), where the 21 gas components are evaluated.
Replacement Value In the standard delivery of the SAP IS-U are replacement value procedure already contained. coregas for TSO contains additional replacement value procedures, which offer optimized procedures for the replacement value formation particularly for the characteristics of gas sector. One of these replacement value procedures are the alternative calculation of stan- dard volume based on the operation volume. This procedure replaces missing profile values for the AMR (automatic meter reading) if they are not correctly transferred. These values are calculated in coregas for TSO with help of the operation volume V o and the S-factor. The other replacement value procedure which is implemented in coregas for TSO is the re- taining value procedure. This procedure holds with its assistance replacement values for missing values in the transmission.
Calculation Workbench The calculation Workbench provides the user the ability to create user-defined formulas without programming any code for the calculation. For the definition and calculation are no special privileges in the system necessary.
