LESSON PLAN IN SS 04: PHILOSOPHICAL ANALYSIS

MOTIVATION
1. The class will divide into 4 groups, and then they will give scratch paper and pentel-pen.
2. They will answer the different types of question created by teacher under time pressure.
(see rubrics)
3. The team who got high score at the end will declare winner.
4. Then the teacher relates the activity to the topic by asking question about on the said
activity.
STRATEGIES
A. ENRICHMENT ACTIVITY
1. The teacher will give each student a Meta cards, and they will write on the Meta
cards the things that they learned.
2. Then the teachers discuss the knowledge and its type, and after that they will
identify according to what they write the kind of knowledge they acquired.
3. Then the class will divide again into four, and they will given sets of jumbled word
that need to be arranged.
4. Then let the students discuss the word that they formed out from the jumbled
words.

C. ABSTRACTION

D. APPLICATION
1. The class will divide into four, and then they will give Manila paper and pentel-pen.
2. Then they will make a diagram with the following criterion:
I. Empiricism and rationalism
II. Locke vs. Hume
III. Positivism vs. empiricism
3. They will explain the diagram they made to the class.
E. SYNTHESIS
The class will divide into 2 groups, and they will undergo a debate about empiricism and
rationalism.
EVALUATION:
The teacher will prepare a 50 item quiz to assess their knowledge in the lesson discussed.
