On 13 June 1913, it was certified that, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2291, Revised Statutes of
the United States, Emma E. Krintz had made payment in full for the SE quarter of Section 32,
Township 8 North, Range 60 East of Montana Meridian, containing 160 acres. On presentation of this
certificate to the Commissioner of the General Land Office, Emma E. Krintz was entitled to receive a
Patent for this property. (Filed for record 30 June 1913 at 9:00 a.m., fee $1.00)

On 24 May 1920, Jennie M. Morris conveyed to Peter McArthur, for the sum of $450, the east 70 feet
of the west 160 feet of Block 25 of the Milwaukee Land Company’s Second Addition to the town of

On 13 January 1921, the F.H. Becker Company conveyed to Peter McArthur, for the sum of $1.00, an
undivided one-fourth interest of, in and to all of the ores and minerals of all kinds, including oil and gas
in and under the south half of the SE quarter of Section 18 in Township 5 North of Range 61 East of the
Montana Meridian, together with the right to go upon the said land and prospect and drill for and
extract and remove the same also one sixteenth part of all rents and royalties and profits that may
accrue and be payable under a certain oil and gas lease dated December 1st, 1920 covering the south
half of the NW quarter, the SW quarter and the south half of the SE quarter of section, township and
range above mentioned and recorded in Book 5 Misc., p. 394. This deed is subject to the oil and gas
lease above described, and also subject to a mortgage to Grandin Investment Company in the sum of
$1800 recorded in Book 11, p. 637, and a second mortgage to Grandin Investment Company in the sum
of $270 recorded in Book 11, p. 639 of the Mortgage Records. (Filed for record 19 January 1921 at

Book 11, p. 199, No. 38079: No. 8A Warranty Deed – Corp. (Short Form)
On 5 December 1921, the F.H. Becker Company conveyed to Peter McArthur, for the sum of $1.00, an
undivided 1/32 part of, in and to all ores and minerals of every kind including oil and gas in and under
the west half of Section 10, Township 5 North of Range 61 East of the Montana Meridian, together
with the right to go upon said land, prospect and drill for, extract and remove the same; also 1/32 of all
the rents, issues, royalties and profits that may accrue and be payable under that certain oil and gas
lease entered into on 12 March 1921, wherein W.J. Smith and Jennie Smith, his wife, are lessors and
Ralp E. Flinn lessee. This deed is subject to the oil and gas lease above described and Mortgage of
$1200 upon said land now of record. (Filed for record 6 December 1921 at 9:00 a.m., fee $1.50)

Patent No. 368915, dated 2 December 1913: Whereas, a Certificate of the Register of the Land Office
at Miles City, Montana, has been deposited in the General Land Office, whereby it appears that,
pursuant to the Act of Congress of May 20, 1862, “To Secure Homesteads to Actual Settlers on the
Public Domain,” and the acts supplemental thereto, the claim of Emma E. Krintz has been established
and duly consummated in conformity to law, for the SE quarter of Section 32 in Township 8 North of
Range 60 East of the Montana Meridian, Montana, there is therefore granted by the United States unto
the said claimant the tract of land described. (Filed for record 30 January 1922 at 1:00 p.m., fee $.95.
