Router rules: Here are some rules define in the router. Though the two networks is connected with a router
but they are separated by rules. R1- Development server is fully isolated from outer world. R2-Database
Server and Web Server also isolated but if needed they can be online. R3- FTP Server is in Bridge, it can be
access from both LAN and Wifi but there are some user policies.

Security Policy:
1. WAN and LAN will be completely separated. From LAN (desktops), there will be no write
permission. From WAN, both read/write will be permitted. As a result, code or confidential
elements cannot be copied from desktop.
2. Symantec End-point protection software will be installed in all laptop and desktops. It will
be managed by KSL system administrators. It will control access of the Internet, computer
ports, file upload etc.
3. No admin privilege will be available in desktop. Any file sharing software (DropBox,
GoogleDrive) installation will be strictly prohibited.
4. For development environment setup (e.g. plugin installation in Eclipse) in desktop, two
mechanisms can be adapted:
a. Internet will be provided for certain time or
b. System admin will physically come & perform the installation
5. During Live Internet connection in Desktop, common mail & social networking sites
will be disabled.
6. Most strict HR action will be taken against any security breach.
