Coordination. Communication. Connection.

These three are just some of the key elements for a successful sales and logistic plan. I was part
of the logistic committee. Though planning and preparation are important, the bulk of work in the
logistics committee will come in during the event itself, thus, I lent my hand also on the sales committee
since I am into it as well. We communicated, brainstormed and discussed on how to come up with a
good ticket sales from sponsorship to advertising. Suggested as well on the revision of the sponsorship
letter as I find it quite hard to evaluate; suggested to them that our proposal should be easy to evaluate,
responsive and customer focused.
The letter should easy to evaluate as the texts are quite small, lengthy and a lot of content. The
receivers are often busy people and they dont have enough time to evaluate and search for answers to
their needs and concerns thus it is vital that our sponsorship letter is easy to evaluate.
Moreover, it should also be responsive and customer focused for easy, fast and clear vision of
what it wants to point at. Too many sponsorship letters focus on the person or company that is
presenting the proposal rather than on the customer. Customers need to know that they have been
heard and understood, and the letter should reflect this understanding.
Though we come from different jobs and field, despite our busy schedules as well; we make sure
that we meet 3 to 4 times a week and even at times after work. Coordination and communication holds
us together.
Days before the big day, we meet and discuss often. We made sure that everything is covered. I
was on mobile that time attending to various concerns of SM Iloilo, CDO, Cebu, GenSan then Davao but
this did not stopped me from asking updates, contacting prospects, coordinating. I was able to sell the
required 4 tickets. Moreover, to assist as well my classmates reach their quota, borrowed 3 tickets from
them and sold them. All tickets were remitted prior to deadline.
Two days before the big day, no finality yet if the logos of the sponsors will be included on the
tarp layout of our backdrop and there was also no assurance if the supplier they tapped to print the
backdrop will give us a good price. I contacted my connections since I am also in the advertising field. At
first, they were hesitant since its a rush request but with a little convincing power and ex-deal
agreement, they finally gave in for a very minimal price. Tarp were installed in the morning

Proper coordination, good communication and right connections are indeed valuable for a task to work
out
