Buhay KPB?
Revelation 3:1-6
Objective: To challenge everyone to (1) assess their
relationship with the Lord, (2) strengthen it, keeping the
passion for Jesus burning, (3) sustain that passion for Christ
until He comes back for us.

Revelation 3:1-6
"To the angel of the church in Sardis write: These are the
words of him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven
stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive,
but you are dead. 2Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is
about to die, for I have not found your deeds complete in the
sight of my God. 3Remember, therefore, what you have received
and heard; obey it, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will
come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will
come to you. 4Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not
soiled their clothes. They will walk with me, dressed in white,
for they are worthy. 5He who overcomes will, like them, be
dressed in white. I will never blot out his name from the book
of life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and
his angels. 6He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit
says to the churches.(NIV)
Opening Prayer

Lately, madalas kong marinig ang ganitong uri ng pagbati sa
dalawang magkaibigan:
Kaibigan 1: ‘Pre! Kamusta?
(At ang common na sagot ay...)
Kaibigan 2: Heto, buhay pa! Ikaw?
Para bang hindi obvious na buhay siya – Natural buhay ka pa,
eh ayan ka nga’t nagsasalita ka!
Ngunit ito’y isang paraan lang ng pagsasabi na ikaw ay “buhay
pa pagtapos mong pagdaanan ang hirap ng buhay.” Which is a
good thing, actually. Good that you’re surviving; good that
you’re coping. But this particular statement can also imply
tiredness of your situation. Lalo na pag sinabayan ng malaking
buntong-hininga before or after the “buhay pa” part.
“Heto (sigh), buhay pa! (sigh) Ikaw?
Ngayon, matanong nga kita: Kamusta ka na? Kamusta na
kayo?
Please take note that my question has something to do with
your relationship with the Lord.

Uh-oh.
IF God DID ask them “Kamusta?” they could’ve answered
“Heto, buhay pa po” (in a much more respectful tone of How, then, can I be sure that “Buhay pa (nga) ako?”

doing.

1. Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to

Remember, therefore, what you have received and

We might think that we’re alive and okay spiritually, but we
better be 100% sure, lest we hear God telling us that we’re - THINGS TO REMEMBER TO HELP

• We cannot grow alone.
3. ...obey it and repent. (v3)
If we don’t wake up:
But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will
not know at what time I will come to you. (v.3b)
The Promised Reward

He who overcomes will, like them, be dressed in white. I will
never blot out his name from the book of life, but will
acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels.
In connection with this month’s theme EPHOD:
We have to finish strong in order to be with God for eternity.
To do that, we have to keep on growing in Him - hold on to
Him and His Word / His promises.

1. Re-asses your spiritual life – Buhay KPB?
2. Are you doing your part in keeping the fire burning
within you - Buhay KPB?
Ignite the passion and keep it burning until Christ comes back.
