A. Site Acceptance Test (SAT) Procedure BY REMARK


1. Connect communication cable from HMI to a PLC 5.
2. Power up both PLC and HMI.
3. Ensure all needed software installed on the HMI (TT4000, RSLinx,
deployment tools). If not, HMI image recovery is needed.
4. Ensure the latest logic software is downloaded to the PLC.
5. Follow TT4000 Commissioning Guide.**
6. Set up network connection between PLC & HMI.
7. Perform simulation test (parameter, indication, status and command list
are based on new display software)*.
Put a value on logic software (RSLogix) . Parameter value and tag
name which is tested must be the same as shown on the HMI.
Initiate alarms & shutdown from logic software. Alarm and shutdown tag
name which is initiated must be the same as shown on the HMI (alarm
& alarm log).
Initiate status from logic software. Status tag name which is initiated
must be the same as shown on the HMI.
Initiate command from display. Command which is initiated on the HMI
must be active on the logic with the same tag name.

Power supply, PLC5 and cables are provided by customer

B. Installation Procedure BY REMARK


1. Turn off existing HMI power (CB207).*
2. Disconnect power cable (24V7, 0V7) from existing HMI.*
3. Disconnect communication cable (DHP) from existing HMI (cable 3).**
4. Disconnect printer cable (cable 2) from existing HMI.**
5. Remove existing display from turbine control panel.
6. Modify existing panel.***
7. Install new HMI to turbine control panel.
8. Connect printer cable (cable 2) to new HMI.**
9. Connect communication cable (DHP) to new HMI (cable 3).**
10. Connect power cable (24V7, 0V7) to new HMI.*
11. Turn on power (CB207).*
12. Setup network connection between HMI & PLC.

C. Commissioning Procedure BY REMARK
