ABOUT US

The Bongar Family has always been involved with environmental concerns of the
country started by their patriarch Engr. I.M. Bongar, who was sent by his Employer to train in
the U.S. in 1967 for the Design and Construction of Sewage Treatment Plants.
In 1978, Engr. I.M. Bongar established I.B. ENGINEERING, his own proprietorship
which built its first STP contract for Texas Instruments in Baguio City. In 1991, it became a
Family Corporation and did not only construct Buildings and Waste Water Treatment Plants
but also Solid Waste Composting and Recycling.
After years of service, Engr. I.M. Bongar and son, also an Engineer, together
established a Company, Bongar Envirosystems Technologies, formed as a Partnership
between father and son in November 3, 2004. On September 28, 2009, the partnership was
dissolved and converted to a Closed Family Corporation under the name BONGAR
ENVIROSYSTEMS TECHNOLOGIES CORP., with all the other siblings involved in the business.
To date we have undertaken several Sewage Treatment Plants under I.M. BONGAR &
CO., INC. and BONGAR ENVIROSYSTEMS TECHNOLOGIES CORP. The former will focus on
General Engineering and Building Construction while the latter will inherit all environmental
business concerns which includes Waste Water Treatment Plants, Solid Waste Composting
and Recycling, and Structural Steel Fabrication and Construction
The bright future of this Corporation rely on the issue of Global Climate Change and
the Governments strict implementation of Republic Act 9275, The Clean Water Act; Ecological
Solid Waste Act of 2000; and Philippine Clean Air Act of 1999.

WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT

OVERVIEW
Sewage is an unavoidable by-product of modern living. The composition of average sewage
is about 99.95% water by weight, but the remaining 0.05% can do unlimited damage to our
waterways, and if left unchecked can constitute a hazard to public health.
In general, sewage is composed of water, solids (dissolved and suspended) and bacteria.
Some of these bacteria are potential disease carriers. If these solids and bacteria are not
removed from the sewage before it is discharged into a receiving body of water, the
receiving body will become unsightly and will give off unpleasant odors and, at worst, fish life
will be destroyed and the water will become a health hazard.
A Sewage Treatment Plant is built for the purpose of removing objectionable materials from
sewage so that the treated effluent can be safely discharged to the receiving waters.

MATERIAL RECOVERY FACILITY
EQUIPMENT

OVERVIEW
Solid Waste, commonly known as trash or garbage, is a waste type consisting of everyday
items that are discarded by the public.
We at Bongar Envirosystems Technologies Corporation (I.M. Bongar & Co., Inc.), accredited
Fabricator of several ITDI-DOST Material Recovery Facility Equipment, aim to promote the
correct treatment of Solid Waste for Municipal & City Government and Private usage.
MRF EQUIPMENTS

Bioreactor
The Bioreactor produces compost from biodegradable garbage in 24 hours.

Plastic/ Styropor Grinder
The Plastic/ Styropor Grinder crushes plastic bottles and styropor into small pieces so
that it could be discarded in a reusable manner.

Plastic Densifier
The Plastic Densifier melts Styropor, Sandobag and other Plastic Wastes. The
Output from the Densifier (Molten Plastic) can be formed into Plastic Tiles, Traffic Cones
and Plantbox.

Organic Shredder
The Orgranic Shredder can shred up to 1.2 ton/hr of wet organic solid waste, shred
coconut husk (buko or bunot), dry leaves, tree branches up to 10mm diameter, corn
stalk rice straw, sunflower stalks, bagass etc.

Garbage Sorting Conveyor
The Sorting Conveyor provides a convenient method for sorting and processing a wide
range of recyclables.
