LIFE THAT IS CHRIST: COL. 3:4

The difference between the two LIVES are the processes and
methods by which they are received into ones’ life. The process
whereby Christ becomes your life is called “the GREAT
SURRENDER”-Romans 12:1-2 while the process whereby your
life is in Christ is called “SALVATION”, and its found all over
the Scriptures.

LIFE IN CHRIST
This is only attained through Salvation; you cannot live in Christ
Jesus until you have gotten saved.
SALVATION:- Is gotten from the Greek word “SOZO” meaning
“SOUNDNESS, DELVERANCE, PROSPERITY, HEALING”.
 GREAT MYSTERY
During Salvation, there is a Great Mystery that takes place
that sums up to our total liberation. But before we look into
these things, it’s wise for us to understand the structure of the
CROSS.

The CROSS has 2 sides:

1. The SUBSTITUION side
2. The JOINT DEATH side

a. The SUBSTITUTION SIDE: Here Christ died as a

substitute for you against the consequences of the Law. This
means that whatever consequence of any broken law/Principle
(i.e. Sin) that you committed was put upon Christ in your place
on the Cross e.g. Disobedience to God’s Laws leads to the
activation of Curses, Christ got substituted for you so that you
can be the free one and He’ll be the guilty One, therefore He
became the “Cursed” for your sake. Still on the basis of
substitution Christ had to die a Physical Death because:

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in
Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 6:23

In order to be the perfect Sacrifice for sin, He had to take up

every consequence of sin, which resulted to death, so that
 everyone that believes in Him would have the power over Death.
He died in your place so that you can live.
This side of the Cross deals mostly with your Physical Status
e.g. Health, Wealth, Longevity e.t.c. and little with your
Spirituality apart from its usefulness in your Righteousness,
Blamelessness, Forgiveness of sin and some vital others. Every
aftermath of sin with regards to your body (and a little about
your Spirituality) was dealt here as Christ being your
SUBSTITUTE.
The 2 sides of the cross reveals that there are 2 major sides
of our Salvation:
a. Physical/Bodily Salvation:- Being saved by the
consequences of sin to your body.
b. Spiritual Salvation:- Being saved from eternal
damnation i.e. Hell.

NB: Substitution never results to a “VICTORIOUS CHRISTIAN

LIFE”, it just acts as a “RANSOM” for sin and not a “STOPPER”
of sin. In substitution Christ paid the Debts you got into due to
sin, but He did not redeem you from getting into more debt, get
it?

2. THE JOINT DEATH SIDE:- This involves 2 parties, You and

Christ. Out of the revelation of the JOINT DEATH side of the
Cross, a Victorious Christian is born, so is Holiness.
 In this Salvation you died with Christ on the Cross, literally.
What died actually was your FLESH (old self). You died TO sin,
that means, you died as a result of sin.

“Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?”

Romans 6:2

After the fall of Adam, a Law was put in place, the law states
that “To be above the DOMINATION of Sin you must be dead
in the flesh”, out of this law, the necessity of the JOINT
DEATH was born. Here you literally die with Christ, you lay
down your flesh and Christ lays down His (Jesus), then your
Spirit and that of Christ are raised by the Power of the Holy
Spirit, and you are placed in the right-hand side of God. What a
MYSTERY! And all these happen during the BAPTISM process.

“Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ
Jesus were baptized into His death”.

Romans 6:3

The Hands of God are symbolic. The Right Hand of God,

symbolizes “POWER”, therefore you were raised and placed in
God’s Power Hand, isn’t that AWESOME!! That is the shortest
summary of your SPIRITUAL POSITION. At this POWER Hand
of God, you are not seated naked (I mean without a spiritual
cover), you are actually hidden in Christ
 “For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God”.

EFFECTS OF BEING HIDDEN IN CHRIST

“For in Him we live and move and have our being,”

Christ, the POWER and WISDOM of God (1 Cor. 1:24), the
Creator and the Sustainer of Creation (Heb. 1:3), the King of
the World (Eph. 1:20-22) e.t.c. is your Spiritual Cover..

“which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and
seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,
21. far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and
every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is
to come.”

Ephesians 1:20-21

This talks about the Resurrection and the Authority Christ

occupies. You occupy the same position as Christ, but rather,
you are IN Him and working THROUGH Him. Remember you were
raised with HIM.
 To be “far above” something means to be “above the reach” or
“above the influence or control” or “master of” something, this is
the side of the CROSS that deals with a Victorious Christian
Living. The first side deals with the RANSOM, while the second
side with TOTAL OVERCOMING, what a wise God we serve!!! So
that you are seated IN Christ (according to Col. 3:3) when you
speak to demons, authorities, powers, thrones e.t.c. they see it
as though Christ is the One speaking, Christ becomes your
Spiritual/Heavenly Representative. According to Philippians 3:20

“For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the
Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:”

We are continuously LIVING, SPEAKING, MOVING in Heaven.

Acts 17:24 reassures us that all we do is done IN Christ and AS
Christ in Heaven. When we speak, it is heard in Heaven. In
Heaven, demons and Angels are assigned to various tasks
according to the WORDS you speak, that is why there is POWER
in your Words. Also in John 3:13, Christ makes known to
everyone that while His bodily present His Spirit is constantly
functioning in Heaven

“No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven,
that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven”.

 “Who is in Heaven” showing the Present Tense. So you are
always in Heaven. That is the effect of being in Christ, when
you speak your command whether good or evil is taken very
seriously.

The Word of God is in 2 phases:

1. Legal: This is what God (Bible) says about you
e.g. ”You are seated in Heavenly Realms, far above
Principalities….”

2. Vital: This is what you are presently e.g. You are

currently seated in you Parlor or room.

FAITH is believing in the Legal and not on the Vital. To work

with God, you need to continuously believe in His Promises and
not on your deficiencies. According to Phil 3:20

“For our citizenship is in heaven,”

Checking out the word “citizenship” in a Thesaurus I stumbled

upon something very shocking. One of the various synonyms of
“citizenship” is “Legal Status”, so when Luke was writing in Acts,
he was simply telling us that our legal status is in Heaven as a
summary of our heavenly life.
 “VICTORIOUS CHRISTIAN LIVING”
This is only achieved when you partake in the Joint Death which
is achieved during BAPTISM, this is why God strongly
recommends BAPTISM immediately after REPENTANCE.
Repentance alone, is one part of the Total Liberation plan. There
are 2 parts to the Total Liberation Plan which was planned by
God:
1. The receiving of Christ:-Repentance
2. The Giving and Living for Christ:- Baptism
After partaking of these with a revelation of them, you get
total Liberation, this was what the Apostles knew and did.

A Victorious Christian Life is living far above sin and in fact

being its master, Romans 6:14

“For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but
under grace”.

And it starts during Baptism. Remember, you cant live above sin
while you are in the Flesh, the Flesh is the Legal property of
Satan and the magnet to sin. When Adam fell, the gene of sin
was put in Him, so until he can be separated from that gene,
he’ll remain in sin, and not only was the gene of sin put into
Adam, but sin blindfolded his Spirit, resulting to SPIRITUAL
DEATH, then now started corrupting the Soul, this was how sin
took over the 3 Dimensions of man, so to be over sin, the first
key, is a SPIRITUAL CHANGE i.e. a SPIRIT CHANGE, then a
SOUL TRANSFORMATION, then the body will automatically
adjust to these changes.
Fortunately for you, all these were taken care of, except that
of the Soul. During Baptism you accepted your death to the
flesh and accepted a new life in Christ, far above the control of
sin, simply put, your “FLESH IS DEAD”. The major instruments
used by sin is the flesh, so after its DEATH (Baptism) its
instrument is totally broken, although you will still be tempted,
but all you need to do is to “REDIRECT ALL THE
TEMPTATIONS TO THE CROSS WHERE YOUR BODY LAYS
DEAD” and that’s all, in fact that is what I do and I see the
temptation run off immediately. KNOW WHY??? Because where
it is currently tempting is on an illegal ground, I mean with my
flesh dead and I now a TEMPLE of Christ, it is totally
trespassing. Once a temptation is redirected to the Cross, it is
automatically killed, due to that AWESOME POWER of the
Cross.
NB: Temptations tests individual Revelations.

BAPTISM MYSTERY
During Baptism, you negotiate with God, your FLESH for His
SPIRIT. When this negotiation is done and acted upon, your
FLESH is transferred to CALVARY and you SPIRIT is restored
to is originally designed Position. Your flesh symbolizes lusts,
desires, craving e.t.c.

“among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our
flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by
nature children of wrath, just as the others”.

Ephesians 2:3

In your flesh lays all manner of sin .e.g. deceit, homosexuality,

lesbianism, fornication, masturbation e.t.c. when you lay it down
on the Cross as Dead you are Spiritually separated from those
desires, cravings and behaviors. Why people have not started
walking in it is that they do not have this revelation, remember
after Triumph sin will try to take you back as a slave but if you
resist on the basis of REVELATION it will forever flee from
you.
“Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you”.

Remember, God took care of your SPIRIT, and BODY, leaving

your SOUL to you to take care of. You Soul is very important to
your complete Salvation.
Revelation is the greatest weapon for mass revival. Victory over
sin is a state of the Spirit just as Holiness is.
 TRUTH ABOUT HOLINESS
Holiness is not difficult and has never been a difficult Principle
and will never be. Do you know what is difficult? Self-Holiness!
God never called us to try and be HOLY but to accept the
Holiness kept in store for us by Christ as on of His finished
works. By God’s Grace, when you are through reading this
article, you will find living in Holiness very easy. Unfortunately,
most people do not see Holiness as a Principle but as a command.
The major difference between a Principle and a Command is that
a Principle when broken has laid down consequences which can not
b e easily averted but when averted its called miracle, but a
command has no constant punishment and can be easily averted.
The breaking of Principle/Laws is very deadly. Principles govern
the Earth. The principle of Holiness is very deadly when broken.
HOLINESS: means “separated” or “made sacred”. Immediately
a person gives his life to Christ he is made sacred for the use of
God ALONE. But when this principle is broken a lot of
consequences/curses are activated e.g. STD’s, premature death
e.t.c. when you use your body to satisfy lusts you end up with so
many problems as a result of the broken law of Holiness.
 HOLINESS ACTIVATED
“But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from
God — and righteousness and sanctification and redemption —“

1 Cor. 1:30
Christ became all these for us. After His death He took up all
these, redemption (Salvation), wisdom, Righteousness and
Sanctification that we might receive them by FAITH. In our
place He took these up, that when we believe in Him we’ll
partake in them. Therefore the same way you receive
Redemption you receive Holiness and Sanctification, Wisdom
e.t.c. The key to Holiness is FAITH on the Finished works of
Christ. You are SAVED by GRACE, therefore you are made
HOLY by GRACE and not by your actions.

LIFE THAT IS CHRIST

Yes you have received Christ, but that should not end there, in
fact the purpose God called you is not to receive Christ alone.
Receiving Christ is one of the major Protocols to what God has
really called you to. Why did GOD call me? Why did He send His
Son?? Why did He redeem me, make me Holy, Sanctify me ???
e.t.c. The answer is that “He called and brought you out of
Eygpt that you may serve Him”.
“and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for
themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again”.

2 Cor 5:15
If your Redemption doesn’t end up in SERVICE you will end up
in bondage sooner than later. The purpose for you in Christ is
that Christ may live and work in and through you. Purpose of
Christianity:
1. Relationship with God and man (1st)
2. Service
3. Equality e.t.c.

Christianity is like a race, when you start you now LET GO for
God to continue THROUGH you. You can never finish the
Christian race alone, there are so many weights and burdens tied
up to the flesh. Never attempt it alone.
After REPENTANCE and BAPTISM, the next is the “GREAT
SURRENDER”.

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you

present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is
your reasonable service”

 WHAT DOES GOD WANT TO DO WITH YOUR BODY?

“now the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the
Lord for the body”.

“But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but
also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. 21
Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel
for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good
work”.

“make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you
what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory
forever and ever. Amen”.

God never called you to be IDLE, you were designed to be
constantly active. God wants you to give Him your body that He
may make you complete in every good work, this means that you
will be very popular and loved by people. God wants to use your
body to achieve GREATNESS, why don’t you LET GO for Him to
LET HOLD????
