Abstract Experiment 6 discusses the impedance and
admittance of a Parallel RLC circuit. Durin the experiment!
inductor and capacitor"s reactance #eha$es differentl% on this
format. &he $oltae source has an amplitude of ' (rms )ith
$ar%in fre*uenc%. &he current )ere measure throuh ammeter
on each #ranch. +o that! )e could ,no) the total current! and
current on each component. -ased from the data athered! the
reactance of inductor #ecame in$ersel% proportional to fre*uenc%
)hile the capacitor #ecame direct proportional. +ince this is in
parallel circuit! )e could represent the current and $oltaes in a
trianle. (oltae must #e the reference since it is consistent in
each components.

parallel (LC iruit is approximately e9ual to t2e iruit
resistane. !2is iruit is mostly resisti3e, and t2e ombined

Condutane 12i2 is t2e real part and t2e suseptane 12i2
