Polish outreach

teams to Germany
and Sicily
It is happening. Polish Christians are hearing Gods call to
missions and they are accepting the challenge! If you read
our last printed update then you know about our trips to
Budapest and Krakow. We continued the mission trips this
year with a team of 30 to Berlin in May and a group of 31 to
Sicily in July! What makes these outreaches so special (other
than sharing the gospel!)? They are truly intergenerational
and interdenominational! The ages ranged from four to fty-
eight years old and everything in
between while members of the
Catholic and Protestant churches
came together in unity to show the
love of Jesus. It is a powerful
testimony when such diversity
stands together under the banner
of Chri st represent i ng t he
mosaicked Church body. The Holy
Spirit continually drew people to
our groups i n both nati ons
because they were attracted to a
uniqueness theyd never before
seen. On our last night in Sicily after our
street evangelism, a local couple came up
and shared with us how theyd been praying for thirty years that God
would bring someone to come share the gospel - and we were that
answer to prayer! Father used the children in our teams to repeatedly
break through barriers of age, culture, and language to bring joy and to
serve the marginalized. The gospel is transformational not only to non-
Christians but also to believers who engage with the Holy Spirit in daily
life. Weve seen abundant spiritual growth in the parents and children
whove taken steps of faith to go on outreach. Theyve even continued the
mission trips after returning home by sharing their powerful testimonies
with friends and looking for ways to serve in their local communities. Praise
God for all He is doing in His people in Poland!

reect on the mission
trip to Berlin:
- For the rst time, I received a specic Bible verse from God. - I could serve
senior citizens by cleaning the garden. - I learned about leadership and cooperating
with children by being a group leader. - Sunday Communion with Poles and
Germans was special as God put reconciliation on my heart. -
Experiencing mission with my son was valuable for me. - I heard from
God for an individual. - I saw individuals grow spiritually and receive
hearts for mission. - The train ride was fun!
MINISTRY IN POLAND
Not only have we served internationally
but we have been ministering in Poland
as well. Greg and I continue to
volunteer at Samuel Christian School in
Warsaw. We are teaching Bible hour on
Mondays for the whole school from 1st
through 9th grade, fullling a chaplain
role, as well as teaching conversational
English to the middle school classes.
This is our third year and the last one
weve ofcially committed to so we are
praying that God would show us what
our roles will be in the years to come.
We have three mission trips planned for
the families at Samuel - two within
Poland where both cities are about an
hour away from Warsaw, and a third to
Brussels so we can intercede for the EU
parliament. Whats amazing is that
Greg and I will only be co-leading the
teams because we have had two other
families join our local staff and they are
wanting to help lead outreach! Both
families had hands-on training in Sicily
and at local events where Greg and I
modeled KKI s values, primarily
showing them how to practically hear
from God and be obedient in what He
says regardless of the circumstances.
In September we had the honor to host
our international KKI directors, Guy
and Joelle Zeller from Switzerland. We
gave them a full schedule and had them
meet as many of our staff as possible!
They taught a seminar on Gods Vision
for Family at a local church and this
was the rst time for many to hear the
biblical foundation of what Gods
purpose for family truly is. We had
around 70 in attendance and received
an overwhelmingly positive response
from the parents and singles who came.
For more details please read about it at
www.skrobarfam.com! I have posted
also about the prayer conference I
attended in London and about our time
serving at a Baptist church on the
Baltic coast.
WHATS UP NEXT
The youth leaders at our church have
asked Greg and me to come teach at the
Saturday youth meetings and to
possibly lead an outreach next spring.
We are excited about connecting with
this young married couple in leadership
and are praying that a new discipling
relationship will develop.
In November we take a group of
elementary students and parents to a
town named Garwolin where we will
serve the local re department, police
ofcers, and city hall alongside the
small church community. Please pray
for wisdom in our leadership team and
openness for the gospel.
We have a group of 17 Poles going to the
annual KKI European conference in
Barcelona. This is our biggest group
ever so please pray they catch the
larger vision of Kings Kids and will
have an encounter with God. I know
this will be a key time for many in their
walk with Father and missions.
If you would like to hear more then
many of you will have a chance while
we are in Alabama for Christmas and
the month of January. Please sign up
for the meal schedule here so we can be
sure to see each of you! This will be the
rst time in two and half years we will
as family be in the USA. Cant wait!
POLISH PRAYER POINT
Taken from operationworld.org
There is a great need for witness in
Poland, with 90% of municipalities
having no evangelical church. There are
more evangelicals in Saudi Arabia than
in Poland. Most Poles are resistant to
the gospel due to either their cultural
Catholicism or their spiritual apathy.
There is certainly a need and an open
door for missionaries to come and serve
alongside the national church. Pray for
evangelicals to rise to this great
challenge and catch a vision for the
salvation of their countrymen as well as
of their European neighbors.
We will share a different Polish Prayer Point in
each newsletter so you can join others around
the world in prayer that changes nations.
