In the reference 1

read above Articles of Charges were issued
against Smt. S.Sailaja, Assistant Executive Engineer on the alleged
irregularities preparation and processing the estimates in the
formation and restoration of Drainage works of Allavaram Constituency
of East Godavari District.

2. In the reference 2

read above, the Charged Officer has
submitted her Written Statement of Self Defence to the charges issued
against her. After examination of the Written Statement of Self
Defence of Smt. S.Sailaja, Assistant Executive Engineer along with
other charged officers it has been decided to entrust the case to
Commissioner of Inquiries for detailed Inquiry. Accordingly, orders
were issued entrusting the case to the Commissioner of Inquiries, in
the references 3
rd
and 5
th
read above.

3. In the reference 6

read above, the Commissioner of Inquiries
has submitted inquiry report stating that the charges 1, 2, 3 & 6 are
held proved against Smt. S. Sailaja, Assistant Executive Engineer and
the charges 4 & 5 are not held proved.

4. In the reference 7

read above, the inquiry report has been
communicated to the Charged Officer with a direction to submit her
explanation, if any on the findings of the Inquiry Authority. In the
reference 8

read above, the Engineer-in-Chief (AW) has furnished the
explanation submitted by Smt. S. Sailaja, Assistant Executive
Engineer.

5. Government after careful examination of the entire matter, have
decided to impose a punishment of withholding One Annual Grade
Increment without cumulative effect against Smt. S. Sailaja, Asst
Executive Engineer. Accordingly, Government hereby order to impose
a punishment of withholding One Annual Grade Increment without
cumulative effect against Smt. S. Sailaja, Assistant Executive Engineer
for the irregularities in preparation and processing the estimates in
the formation and restoration of Drainage works of Allavaram
Constituency of East Godavari District.

6. The Engineer-in-Chief (AW), Irrigation & CAD Department,
Hyderabad shall take necessary further action in the matter.
