1. Recap from
discussion yesterday
Yesterdays discussions were about server set-
up, high level Migration strategy, some nodes,
and possible risks we may encounter.

2. Server Set-up There are 3 x10 servers connecting to
EXADATA EA and 1 of the x10 server in EA is
connecting to DR location while on the DR
location we are doing the commission per
server and as of yesterday 1 of the server is
already completed, 1 is on going for set-up,
while the remaining 2 is still pending.
JC Provide update on the 3
remaining servers for their
status later today.
3. High Level Migration
Strategy
They were currently coordinating with the
developers to determine the set-up of the
management for the actual test the NARS,

4. Pre- Migration set-up The servers to prove the commission are 4 in
the apps and 4 in the IDC. There new boxes
given but all of them are in the East Avenue,

5. Transition Phase 3 version 7 instances will be use for the GSM
port servers and re-pointed for upgrading.

Cut-over Phase
The port server will be reconfigured and will
re-point to the new 11g.

Post X10 Migration
All existing servers will be upgraded to 11g, 15
servers for the installation then out of the 15
servers 3 servers will be upgraded from
version 7 to version 11 those are the GSM SRI,
with minor update the upgrading will now 6
version 7 to version 11 prior to migration.

Notes
Port servers, no upgrades but still for checking
to Oracle client for compatibility.

Next Steps
X10 instances in EA 1 instance is completed, 1
is ongoing and 2 are still pending,
identification and commissioning of the 7 new
servers target day will be on Monday (June 9
2014).
