nursery and %rograms for children newborn through high school. Any
of the ushers will be ha%%y to direct you to the %ro%er classroom. 'f
you feel more comfortable having your infant with you during the
service( the last row in the Auditorium will be reserved for %arents with
small children. There is a %rivate room for nursing mothers across the
hall from the Auditorium with a rocking chair( changing table and
%ortable crib. )or your convenience( it also includes a monitor to
enable you to still hear and view the service.

#uncheon for all newcomers to the church. If you have filled out a

we want all who are new to !alem "eights Church to feel welcome

and answer time with the pastors as well as a tour of the church
campus will be on the agenda for the afternoon. Childcare

There is an immediate need for servants willing to be part of the
team who pulls and puts away music each week. *usical
background is nice but not necessary. The team will train any

Even though there were differences in their
ages and circumstances, both Elizabeth and
Mary were women chosen by God to be
human instruments in the two most unusual
and significant births in the New Testament...


...Its easy to deduce why Mary would have
wanted to meet with Elizabeth as soon as
ossible. The news Mary had !ust heard from
Gabriel was startling, even scary. The angel
understood how Mary was feeling and
graciously told her of Gods sign that
romted her to !ourney eighty miles to
Elizabeths home" And behold, even your
relative Elizabeth has also conceived a son in
her old age; and she who was called barren is
now in her sixth month. For nothing will be
impossible with God. #$u%e &"'()'*+.
Mary believed the angel, but its easy to
understand that Mary would welcome
anything that might bolster her faith ) anything
that might underscore the reality that such
miracles do occur. ,fter all, the concetion
that would ta%e lace within her body would
be comletely the result of Gods miraculous
intervention without her even %nowing e-actly
when it haened. Those uni.ue
circumstances lead inevitably to further
.uestions. /ow could Mary withstand the
emotional and siritual strain that went with
being the mother of Gods 0on1 ,nd because
her regnancy would not be hysically
noticeable for a eriod of time, how could
Mary be certain right away that the angels
words had really come to ass1 ,ll of those
factors comelled Mary to go without delay to
visit Elizabeth 2 the one erson who could
verify for her that God was able to erform a
concetion miracle.
