Its that time of year again and Panto is upon us here at Iver Heath
Drama Club! Its been another hectic year for us here at IHDC with two
entries into the Woking Drama festival last year where we were very
successful and even brought home an award.

The last 6 months has been all about Cinderella and I must say yet
again the bar has been raised by this wonderful group. Its always an
absolute pleasure to direct the pantomime &this year has been no
exception. We have even more members than last year and I would like
to mention our youth team. They are all so energetic and excited to
put on shows and make a fantastic supporting cast to our elder members in pantomime.
Im sure you will agree they truly make the show wonderful & without them I know
rehearsals would be dull!

Its no small task to take on this project and I certainly couldnt do it without the support of
some really key people. The list is endless & I hope everyone knows I truly appreciate all
those who help me, but I would like to specifically mention a few. Firstly Matthew Streuli
who helps promote the pantomime and make sure we are well advertised on a rather
small budget! Without ticket sales & a small membership fee we simply wouldnt be here
to do the show. Also Carol Campling who is my absolute rock when it comes to directing!
With so many things to do and remember she is always there to help and normally a few
steps ahead on anything I ask. She is the mummy of our group and I certainly would be
lost without her. I also want to mention James Pearce who is the sound, lighting & set
building guru! For an amateur group I think we can sometimes take for granted the
professional work he does for us here and I would like to personally thank him and his
team who help create an amazing show.
Lastly thanks to you, our audience, without whom again
we just wouldnt run so on behalf of all at IHDC we thank
you.
Now lets get on with it! I hope you enjoy the show!

Aidan Parr
After first appearing as King Claudius, Aidan is
loving his first time in drag. Hes the kind of
frood who always knows where his towel is.

Emily Miller
This is Emilys first panto role at IHDC after her
debut as Lady Capulet in Romeo & Juliet.
Aside from acting, Emily has been helping
with this years horse costume.
Baron Hardup
John Williams
John first joined the club some twenty years ago and
yet he is still wearing the same costume. His previous
roles also include the Friar in Romeo & Juilet and
several Panto Kings.
Buttons
Sean Hall
Sean first joined to be a Yorkshire Ghost & to chat up
the Director. His previous roles include Romeo and a
comedic cop. This year he won no favours by learning
his lines months before anyone else.
Prince Charming
Emily Campling
After working her way up through the junior
section, Emily is a mainstay of Panto. Her
previous roles also include a comedy Guard,
and Daisy in Daisy Pulls It Off .


Cinderella
Abigail Eady
After joining the club two years ago to bang a
drum, this is her debut lead role. In 2013 she co-
wrote and Directed an Award Winning version
of Romeo & Juliet. Yay!
Baroness Hardup
Marion Calder
Marion is a primary school teacher who joined
several years ago to avoid children. Little did
she know! Previous roles also include Benvolio
and a Panto Villain.
Bodget & Leggett
Lee Hall & Richard Gittens
After appearing as Hamlet and a Panto Villain, this
is Lees first Comedy role.
Richard has been with the club for over 5 years
and last year was Aladdin.
Fairy
Lucy Campling
Lucy has been working her way up through
our Junior ranks including her appearance as
Beth in the 2012 Award Winning Play OZ.
Grizelda
Matthew E Streuli
Matt has been with the club for over 15 years
and has been resident dame for four of them.
He is loving the chance to combine tights with
meanness.
