Trainer Preparation Guide for Course 10174A: Configuring and Administering Microsoft SharePoint 2010 3 Prerequisite Knowledge to Teach This Course To present this course, you must have: Understanding of Windows Server 2008 and supporting technologies, such as Internet Information Services Experience deploying and configuring Windows Server 2008 and SQL Server Technologies Experience deploying SharePoint 2007 Technologies Understanding of the different ways to manage SharePoint Server 2010 Understanding the difference between SharePoint Foundation 2010 and SharePoint Server 2010 Understanding of SQL Server Technologies Understanding of Disaster Recovery planning and procedures Clear understanding of the importance of Governance terminology, SLA and OLA. Reviewed the different implementation guides for SharePoint 2010 Familiarity with SharePoint 2010 information on TechNet and MSDN.
