JOB DESCRIPTION
The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. This

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY
The Senior Consultant has primary responsibility for direct supervision of Consultants in executing supply chain
improvement project plans. The Senior Consultant has direct, client-facing engagement responsibilities. Serving as
both role model and trainer, the Senior Consultant demonstrates the attributes of excellent client service and assists
team members in developing technical and professional competency. The Senior Consultant learns to identify areas
of opportunity to improve business performance.
REQUIRED GENERAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and lead change efforts
effectively
Understand the clients business, including critical success factors
Appropriately manage client expectations and exceed mutually agreed upon objectives

REQUIRED INDUSTRY / TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Advanced skills in spend analysis and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis and modeling
Experience with Supply Chain Management, Structured Strategic Sourcing Methodology and/or other performance
improvement areas
Spend assessment with the identification and prioritization of strategic sourcing savings opportunities
Value analysis to identify return on investment opportunities for clients
Working knowledge of SAP, Oracle, and/or other ERP systems would be a plus
EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS

Bachelors degree required


5+ years of relevance supply chain / performance improvement experience with a national management consulting
firm, Big 4 firm, or similar institution
ABILITY TO TRAVEL

Frequent travel may be required based on client requests/commitments
