Undergraduate Research Fellowship Program (URFP) 2014

Studied the spectrum mobility problem for Secondary Users in Cognitive Radio Networks (CRN).

Proposed a routing game for the problem that combined channel switching and route re-selection.

Self-learned the algorithmic game theory, and constructed system models for the routing game.

Designed an algorithm to simulate the Fictitious Play process as the learning design for the game.

Conducted simulations and proved the validity of our theoretical analysis.

Implemented the server side of a fully functioning chat room application;

Applied multi-threaded techniques and Unix socket programming;

Semaphore implementation (Language: C)

Modified kernel code. Implemented semaphores;

Used the semaphores in a program that simulated cars sharing a single-lane road that required
synchronization;
Memory concentration card game (Language: Java)

Built a concentration game from scratch. With all cards facing down initially, the objective of the
game is to turn over matching pairs at each turn.
