Lionel Messi could become La Liga's all-time highest scorer on Saturday as Barcelona look to get

their campaign back on track against Almeria.

Messi has scored 250 goals, leaving him one shy of Telmo Zarra, who has held the record for nearly
60 years.
The Argentine striker has six goals in his last three visits to Almeria's Estadio de los Juegos
Mediterraneos.
On Wednesday, Messi equalled Raul's Champions League scoring record of 71 goals with two against
Ajax.
Following the match, Barca coach Luis Enrique described Messi as he best player he had ever seen.
Having moved to within one of Zarra with a goal in the 3-0 victory over Eibar on 18 October, Messi
failed to find the net in defeats by Real Madrid and Celta Vigo.
The results saw Barca slip from first to fourth in the table, two points behind leaders Real Madrid.
Barcelona have not lost three games in succession since 2003.
Almeria, who are 14th in the table, have yet to win at home at this season.
