Unity of God, Good and Human: Brilliance
Morals, by themselves, do not create favorable results if not engaged by design. To do
what one wants to, without concern for the universe is the key to happiness. If an individual does
for themselves first, they will be in a position to do for others. In this way, being the most selfish is
the path to being the most selfless. Unselfishness in the best way possible, then requires a sense of
egotism and greed. The moral person is the one who is moral to themselves.
Morals are misused by people because they misunderstand their motivations in daily
decisions. This essay reviews three questions: 1. Is murder moral, if God exists? 2. Can a nonbeliever be moral? 3. Can different religions agree on moral issues? Presenting morality definitions
through interpretation of theories, and what humans think duty and obligation mean morally are
evaluated. An explanation through philosopher John Locke on God, will show what morality is,
and will speak on its limits and limitlessness.
1. Moral Motivation
Goodness is dependent on law, and what it takes to conform to its rules. If people follow
the motivations for what is good, they will stay within the law. Morals need not be so stringently
heeded when looking at the intention of the thought and/or deed. Focus on virtue then, instead of
the law of it, will draw lines that focus on morals for its own sake. This will aid proper use, and
not lead to using in an extreme sense, or for what it might mean (Divine).
Not deliberately mixing definitions here, the supernatural law is important, but not wholly
explanatory, and supports questioning. What is being interrogated is the stress one can put on it, if

Heil 2
relied upon solely. If one pays attention to obligation or duty to the law by itself,
misinterpretation follows. The one extra step to see where the idea came from, will enlighten the
thoughts of why the law is being challenged. onception of morality as virtue, as law, or both,is
a choice (Divine). Virtue then can be used by anyone, including the non-believer, by seeking their
motivation.
The person who murders a murderer is doing a moral act of protecting innocents from
being murdered. This is a brilliant scenario where a capital crime exposes itself as a virtue. God's
instructions inform us what good is, but they do not define what good is, at the root. Shown in
this example is a way that morals are misused, and how this will lead to a never ending pile of
bodies. God and good exist because humans cannot be held responsible for the totality of what it
means to be good, or God worthy (Divine).
Morality in itself cannot offer happiness. The suspicion of acting in a good way is what will
provide the fruits, and the happiness that follows. Believing in God, or good for the atheist or
agnostic, and being morally enlisted is a statement that does not discuss the reason or cause. The
thinking follows, that the ideal must be given a voice, listened to, and acted upon to expose itself
fully. What will give the sense of self, and proceeding acceptance of happiness, is the depth of
interest pursued (Divine).
Does God or good have a moral code that explains what is right to do, or does the
concept follow what is morally right? If it insists what is morally correct, then insists on murder,
murder must be committed. If it concedes to follow what is, then morality has no meaning, no
basis. In other words, if the disapproval/approval of goodness follows the act, then a decision
rather than a requirement is a more accurate explanation, and the law was followed rather than
commanded (Divine).
2. Optional or Required

Heil 3
If God, or good exists, they have no requirement to be moral or, they have no power.
Powerless is not the way that God, or good is described. Just behavior, is doing more than is
required to fulfill the obligation of being good, or living at one with God. Even for God, or good,
there are no restrictions but by that, that is self imposed. Reasoning, or getting inside the
processes of our duty to goodness or God is virtuous. This is because one is employing the same
tactics used by the originator or original invention (Drummond 84-85).
Taking a bullet for someone and baking a cake for someone is the same thing. One
person's perspective is saying this makes no sense. The intention of the act being as important, if
not more important, says the acts are rooted in duty, and the goodness or Godliness of them are
addressed. Though, the risks involved are different, or are they? (Drummond 86-87). Say that the
bullet taken was unnecessary because the other had a bullet proof vest on. What if the cake, if not
baked, caused a suicidal depression, for instance. These scenarios invert the needs and desires for
optimal outcomes, showing the extreme and how they equate.
Heroic, natural required or optional, or mindless? A story of a man saving another from
being run over by a train, sounds great, what a hero. The story goes on to tell of his young
daughters nearby, they are fine, but what if they had tried to help? Now the man is an idiot for
putting his daughters in harms way. Then throw in whether the act had been mentally required, or
the possible option of it, and the man is a hero again because he did not have to perform. Offered
for observation or judgment: Four stages of acts: forbidden, permissible, required, and
supererogatory- our best or beyond duty (Drummond 88-89).
Mommy, you saved my life, but this is required of you by instinct, or natural tendencies.
So a mother is never a hero, or always one with no mention. Of motivation though, which is the
way to secure our morality and not rely on the law literally, what is shown here is proof of the
latter. Mindset, resonance and inspiration are as important as the action, as indicated when

Heil 4
considering good, moral and virtuous participation in life. Hence the murderer, non-believer, and
the conflict of agreement in different religions can take solace in these attributes if they will use
them with care. To be one's best includes inspiration from love and free will (Drummond 89-90).
The one who will murder for a worthy cause, from love and freedom, is righteous in Gods or
goodnesses eye.
3. Creating Goodness
Santa Claus is God/good in its motivation, or a superhero for instance. Creation of
motivation: Pondering a new idea, seeing this word. Word is a positive entity, and is all powerful,
only concerned with doing good. Now the word, word has taken on a whole new trait. One
cannot hardly wait for the next chance to use the word, word. God/good is not born in us, we
have no way of knowing it other than what is created. The reason it is believed in, is the concepts
of right and wrong (Locke 474).
Hunger, argument and the idea of nothingness convince humans that they are something. If
they are something there must be something that created something. Nothing can create nothing is
a desperate argument, but with nothing there would be no words on this page. Beginning means
there is a creator, and the creator creates creativity is a good argument that it is real. Creativity is
addressed with the ideas previously, showing that evolving goes on through, from, and by the
creator, hence something is something (Locke 474).
Intelligence was created by intelligence, if not why would there ever be intelligence is the
simile. It is smart then to be driven by motivation to seek the origins. This answers how murder
can be moral and how a non-believer can be moral. Humans know God/good because of the
rationalizations involved (Locke 476).
To see God/good as a compilation of everything in the universe, even thousands of years
ago with no modern science, is rationalizing of an intelligent being. Monkeys use sign language,

Heil 5
revealing wisdom, and they understand the thought of their creator. They understand the thought
of family, and that it is their creator, is reasonable. The idea that everything is a reaction to the
first action, shows a rock or tree has intelligence as it does not sit there but reacts, if acted on
sufficiently. If a rock can sense God/good then it follows that everything, everywhere has moral
answer-ability (Locke 477-478).
4. Alone or Together
The world is sitting still while it revolves ceaselessly is a good description of Gods/goods
children based on discrepancies of moral motivators. Terrorism is motivated by supernatural love.
God/good is leading the path can create war, is a flag waved to allow destruction, detriment of
resources and mental disharmony. Existence is threatened in virtuous pursuits, sounds mixed up
and, attests to intentional direction. The motivation needs to be addressed, not used as a weapon,
if there will ever be agreement of evolution concerning all the earth (Cristini 574-575).
Different religions have their own ideas, but conjointly offer peace and unity as the basis,
urges the question of disharmony among them. The effortless truths of love, honesty, and interest
in others are the path to follow. They show that motivation is key to agreeing, looking at it with a
holistic view of religion and government, to the desirableness of what the future holds. It takes
one small step to see the atheist or non-believer as the best hope for people to engage in mutually
moral agreements. The devout have lost touch, understanding their motivation today (Cristini
576-577).
A couple of thoughts as to moral uproariousness are dissatisfaction, secular culture and
ego. This leads to a union of religions of motivation. Ego misuses by motivation brings out the
animal in someone. If intelligence never was it never will be, one will live in the shadow of oneself
if they do not attempt to view the shadow. If this is where one lives it spreads out to everything
one touches. Intellect has become the force to be understood. Using our motivation is

Heil 6
overshadowed by using our intended motivation. The ego becomes a thing to be understood,
valued, inspected and challenged as it uses itself in seemingly good ways that turn on itself,
without warning. When we know ourselves, we know God/good (Cristini 578-580).
Conclusion
Morals are misused by people because they misunderstand their motivations in daily
decisions. Is murder, moral? Can one be moral and not believe? Can morals be agreed upon by
different religions? These are all the same question. Is it obligation, requirement or option is in the
perception. Killing, disagreement, and belief or not, are moral, and required to know what the
discussion is about. What the Sun is, would not be known without clouds to hide it, is the
comparison.
If it was not known what was being said here, it would not matter what was being
written. Perception does not come with nothing. Motivation is inspired by nothing is a futile
argument. One is, because they are, and does, by inclusion of perception and motivational
marriage. To include God or good in the marriage takes work. To see intention in the work
performed will lead to understanding and appreciation. Mistakes are sure to happen in the human
condition. This will be reduced, if it is what is wanted.
