Introduction
Congratulations on your purchase of ComAp controller. The purpose of this document is to help you to
answer some basic questions that typically occur during the first contact with IGS-NT controller:

Why and How to Register and Become a Member of the ComAp
Club?
You can become a member of the ComAp club and enjoy a range of exclusive benefits such as up to
date information on new products and full access to materials otherwise restricted such as product
manuals and software updates.
To register and become a member of the ComAp club:
1. Open http://www.comap.cz/ in your browser.
The ComAp homepage appears:
3. After the user registration form appears, fill in the form and click REGISTER.
Your user name and password will be sent to your email address.
4. Open this mail and click the confirmation link.
5. Confirm your registration.
Now you can log in to the ComAp members club.

Operator Guide
Data Sheets describe basic technical specification and purpose of various types of controllers.
Getting Started Guide will help you to answer some basic questions that typically occure during the
first contact with IGS-NT controller.
Application Guides will give you the general overview of controllers and various types of their wiring.
Communication Guides describe communication interface among controller(s) and superior system.
From this manual you can get information on all available types of communication.
Installation Guides describe the physical installation of a controller including all auxiliary and
expansion modules with typical wiring and individual product setup information. It includes all relevant
dimensions, specifications and technical data.
Applications Reference Guides describe in detail the firmware of a certain type of a controller.
Troubleshooting Guides describe typical troubles during configuration, adjustment and operation of
the controller and how to solve them.

How to Download the Installation Package from the ComAp
Website?
To download the installation package from the ComAp Website:

2. If the window does not appear, open your Internet Explorer (or Total Commander) and run
D:\Autorun.exe.
3. Click the firmware version IGS-NT 1.1 April 06 r2 on the right. See picture above.
4. Do one of the following:
Click Open to open the file from the installation CD and if necessary, confirm you want to run
the file
or
click Save and save the IGS-NT-1.1-April06r2.exe file to your PC.

6. Click OK.
The window appears:

9. Tick Create shortcut(s) on the desktop to create the icon on your desktop.
10. Click Next.

The installation is complete.

To see extension modules, download software for configuration and monitoring, manuals, click
InteliGen NT or InteliSys NT:

In the middle of the display you can see the controller INFO screen for 10 seconds.

Ensure you have a DC Power Supply to the IGS-NT controller (this supply can be 8 - 36
VDC).
Connect the controller with your PC via RS232 communication cable either directly
or
if you do not have the D-SUB9 serial port on your PC, use the USB-RS232 converter and
connect it to the USB port on your PC.
Turn on the controller.
Turn on your PC.
Double click the InteliMonitor icon on your desktop.
InteliMonitor application appears.
Click Connection Open connection or click the first icon under the main menu
(other ways how to connect to a controller you can find in the InteliMonitor Reference Guide
on
the ComAp website).

What Is InteliMonitor?
InteliMonitor is intended for on-line monitoring of ComAp controller values.
It enables to:

What Is GenConfig?
GenConfig is intended for off-line configuration of ComAp controllers. It is focused on comfortable
operation while offering inexhaustible number of configuration features and options. It is designed for
anybody who needs to configure the controller.
Any configuration modifications have to be subsequently downloaded to the controller or saved
to an archive file. Online changes and monitoring has to be done from InteliMonitor. Pay attention
to GenConfig Overwrite setpoints option.
GenConfig enables to:
select which functions and protections will be connected to binary/analog inputs and
outputs of the controller

To download the GenConfig Reference Guide and/or its new features:

Open the location with the firmware, see the picture above.
Choose the version of the firmware and click Open.
The Import firmware appears:

Click Import.
If it is a case, to confirm the message Overwrite file, click Yes to All.
Click File Firmware upgrade and Cloning FW upgrade (default configuration).

10. Choose the version of the firmware you want to download to the controller and click OK.
Open InteliMonitor.
Choose Settings History.
Tick Service tool.
