Being a daughter of dentist, I have always been

surrounded by toothpastes, toothbrushes and

other dental equipments. I too became a dentist
and after several years of practicing my field in
Dentistry, me together with my husband and a
chemist in UNILAB, Christian Ong, started
venturing in business. At first, we opted to
continue handling the dental clinic of my father
in Niugan, Malabon.

The launch was a huge success. But, we

needed more money for advertisements and so
my father offered his assistance. Then we did
outsourcing for distibutors and Hilda Kramer,
owner of Prints & Go created our first 500 fliers
and posters. To gain a wider market, we had
several dental programs for baranggays during
the Health & Awareness months and Oral
Health weeks.

Having
patients
who
are
mostly
travelers,professionals
and
children,
we
observed that one of the major problem is their
slothful ways in brushing their teeth. And so we
wondered, How can we further help these
travelers and how can we inspire them to brush
their teeth?

Our success faced its first major blow when our

company place situated in Niugan, Malabon
was caught in a huge fire. It almost shook us
but we did not lose hope. Dec, 2009, we
opened a 2-storey building in Christians old
house in Binan, Laguna. From direct selling, we
became open to wholesale distribution to
hospitals in Laguna, travel stores and SLEX
Treats.

Year 2006 We started preparations to create

a toothbrush with a built in toothpaste tube. We
searched for other chemists that will come up
with the formula that will surely suit the market
and will provide the best toothpaste for our
product. Luckily, Christian have friends from
work who helped him in the process. It was
almost 2 years of waiting, brainstorming and
preparing.
By May 20, 2009, Christian and his team came
up with the brush that will not stain your hands;
A toothpaste formula, that when mixed with
water, will turn into a mouthwash. We launched
Happy Teeth Toothbrush under our company
name, Denteeth Company. We named our
product Happy Teeth for the experience of
having such toothbrush will make one happy
and inspired to brush their teeth. We also came
up with the logo that emphazises the company
name with its bright blue colors. Denteeth
Company
was

When you find your true love, you hold on to it

and never let it go.
-Truly, it was a bumpy ride to get what you want
and to reach for your dreams but once you
attain your goal in life, you just need to hold on
to it and grow together with it. Denteeth & Co.
was another dream come true for a young girl
back in the 90s. Now that I am in my 30s, I
know I can still dream for a brighter future of my
company. In behalf of Christian and me, I would
like to tell you a secret.
Its never too early or too late to dream. Find
what you love and love that thing. Reaching
that dream might be hard and disappointing but
you will learn your way to reach it. And lastly, if
you that dream can make you smile like Happy
Teeth, hold on to it and never let it go.
