With your watchs perpetual calendar feature, the date never needs
adjustment until 2100. The watch automatically accounts for short
months and leap years, always showing the correct day and date.
The day and date were preset at the TX factory. You only need to adjust
the time.
The watch has two recessed push buttons for use by an authorized
retailer or TX affiliate company to set the day and date after battery
replacement. They have no use otherwise.

To set the time:

1) Pull the crown to its outer position. All the indicator hands move to
the ends of their sweeps, adjusting themselves automatically. This
corrects any possible misalignment of the hands. The indicator hands
then return to display day, month, and date.
2) Turn the crown until the correct time and date are shown. The day and
date change automatically when the time reading moves to either
side of 12:00 midnight.
3) Push the crown in when finished.

NOTE: Your watch is equipped with a screw-down crown for greater

water resistance. Before adjusting any of the time or date settings
release the crown by first unscrewing it from the case in a counter-clockwise motion.

Ensure the correct AM/PM setting by verifying that the date changes at
midnight, not noon.

leap year offset

To maintain the correct date, the watch includes a setting for the current
leap year offset. This setting is made at the Timex factory or after
battery replacement and cannot be changed, only viewed.
To view the offset, pull the crown to its middle position. The center hand
shows the offset: 1 = 1 year after leap year; 2 = 2 years after leap year;
3 = 3 years after leap year; 4 = leap year. Push the crown in when done
and the hands resume their normal display of day, month, and date.

care and maintenance

Your watch is water-resistant to 10 ATM.
To maintain water-resistance, do not press any buttons under water.
Ensure that the crown is securely screwed into the case by pushing the
crown while simultaneously turning it in a clockwise motion.
1) The watch is water-resistant only as long as the lens, push buttons,
and case remain intact.
2) The watch is not a diver watch and should not be used for diving.
3) Rinse the watch with fresh water after exposure to salt water.
The watch may be cleaned with a cloth and mild soap in warm water.

The battery should provide 6 years of normal watch use. The actual
battery life may vary depending on actual use.
When the battery is depleted, have it replaced promptly. For battery
replacement, please visit an authorized retailer or Timex affiliate

Con su reloj de calendario perpetuo, la fecha nunca necesitar ajuste

hasta el 2100. El reloj toma en cuenta automticamente los meses
cortos y los aos bisiestos, presentando siempre fecha y da correctos.
El da y la fecha fueron programados en la fbrica de Timex. Slo necesita ajustar la hora.
El reloj tiene dos botones de activacin empotrados para uso de un

NOTA: Para una mayor resistencia al agua el reloj est equipado con una
corona sujeta con un tornillo. Antes de ajustar cualquiera de los

desatornillarla con un movimiento en sentido antihorario.

Para fijar la hora:

1) Jale la corona hasta su posicin externa. Todas las manecillas
indicadoras se mueven hasta el final de sus ciclos, auto-ajustndose
en forma automtica. Esto corrige cualquier desalineamiento de las
manecillas. Las manecillas indicadoras retornan luego a mostrar da,
mes y fecha.
2) Gire la corona hasta que se muestren la hora y fecha correctas. El da
y la fecha cambian automticamente cuando las lecturas horarias se
mueven a cualquier lado de las 12:00 a la medianoche.
3) Pulse la corona hacia adentro cuando termine.

Asegure el parmetro correcto de AM/PM (maana/tarde) verificando

compensacin del ao bisiesto

Para mantener la fecha correcta, el reloj incluye una configuracin para
la compensacin del ao bisiesto en curso. Esta configuracin es hecha

prvient tout dsalignement des aiguilles. Les aiguilles indicatrices
retournent ensuite laffichage du jour, du mois et de la date.
2) Tourner la couronne jusqu afficher lheure et la date. Le jour et la
date changent automatiquement selon que laffichage de lheure
dfile avant ou aprs 12h00 minuit.
3) Enfoncer la couronne pour valider.

REMARQUE : Votre montre est quipe avec une couronne visse pour
une meilleure tanchit. Avant dajuster les rglages de lheure ou de la
date, dgager la couronne en la dvissant du botier dans le sens antihoraire.

Sassurer que le rglage matin/soir soit correct en vrifiant que la date

change minuit et non midi.

Afin de se maintenir la bonne date, la montre comprend un rglage
permettant de tenir compte de lanne bissextile courante. Ce rglage
est effectu lusine Timex ou aprs le remplacement de la pile et ne
peut tre modifi mais seulement affich.
Pour lafficher, tirer la couronne en position intermdiaire. Laiguille
centrale affiche le rglage : 1 = 1 an aprs une anne bissextile ; 2 = 2 ans
aprs une anne bissextile ; 3 = 3 ans aprs une anne bissextile ;
4 = lanne bissextile. Enfoncer la couronne pour valider ; les aiguilles
retournent leur affichage habituel du jour, du mois et de la date.

Votre montre est tanche jusqu 10 ATM.
Afin de prserver ltanchit, nappuyer sur aucun bouton lorsque la
montre est immerge.
Veuillez vous assurer que la couronne est bien visse dans le botier en
la poussant tout en la vissant dans le sens horaire.
1) La montre est tanche aussi longtemps que le verre, les boutons et le
botier sont intacts.
2) La montre nest pas conue pour la plonge. Ne pas lutiliser dans ces
conditions.
3) Rincer leau douce aprs tout contact avec leau de mer.
La montre peut tre nettoye laide dun chiffon et de savon doux dans
de leau chaude.
La pile doit permettre la montre de fonctionner pendant 6 ans dans
des conditions normales. Lautonomie relle de la pile peut varier en
fonction de lutilisation qui est faite de la montre.
Remplacer rapidement la pile lorsque celle-ci est use. En ce qui concerne le changement de la pile, sadresser un revendeur agr ou une

Datumsanzeige einstellen, entfernen Sie die Krone, indem Sie sie entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn drehen und damit vom Gehuse abschrauben.

Mit Hilfe der Funktion Ewiger Kalender muss bis zum Jahr 2100 das
Datum nie berichtigt werden. Die Uhr passt die Monate und Schaltjahre
automatisch an und zeigt Zeit und Datum akkurat.
Wochentag und Datum wurden vom TX-Werk bereits eingegeben. Sie
brauchen nur die Zeit einzustellen.
Die Uhr ist mit zwei vertieften Knpfen ausgestattet, damit autorisierte
Hndler oder TX-Partner nach Batteriewechsel wieder den Tag und das
Datum einstellen knnen. Die Knpfe haben sonst keine andere
Funktion.

Zeit einstellen
Einstellen der Zeit:
1) Krone ganz herausziehen. Alle Zeiger pendeln zunchst bis zum
Anschlag und stellen sich dann automatisch ein. Etwaige
Ausrichtungsfehler werden so korrigiert. Die Funktionszeiger zeigen
daraufhin Wochentag, Monat und Datum an.
2) Krone drehen, bis korrekte Zeit und Datum erscheinen. Wochentag
und Datum ndern sich automatisch, je nachdem, wie spt es ist in
Relation zu 12.00 Mitternacht.
3) Nach Einstellung die Krone wieder hineindrcken.
AM/PM so einstellen, dass sich das Datum um Mitternacht - und nicht
mittags - ndert.

Schaltjahrausgleich

P f l e g e u n d Wa r t u n g

Die Uhr besitzt eine Ausgleichsfunktion fr das entsprechende

Schaltjahr, damit das Datum immer korrekt erscheint. Diese Einstellung
wurde bereits im Timex-Werk oder nach Batterieaustausch vorgenommen und kann nicht verndert, sondern nur eingesehen werden.
Um die Ausgleichsfunktion anzusehen, die Krone bis zur Mittelposition
herausziehen. Der zentrale Funktionszeiger stellt den Ausgleich wie folgt
dar: 1 = 1 Jahr nach Schaltjahr; 2 = 2 Jahre nach Schaltjahr;
3 = 3 Jahre nach Schaltjahr; 4 = Schaltjahr. Krone wieder hineindrcken,
und die Zeiger nehmen wieder ihre Normalposition fr Wochentag,
Monat und Datum ein.

Ihre Uhr ist bis 10 ATM wasserdicht.

Damit Wasserbestndigkeit gewhrleistet ist, unter Wasser keine
Knpfe drcken.
Versichern Sie sich, dass die Krone fest ins Gehuse geschraubt ist,
indem Sie sie drcken und gleichzeitig im Uhrzeigersinn drehen.
1) Die Uhr ist nur wasserdicht, solange Glas, Knpfe und Gehuse intakt
sind.
2) Dies ist keine Taucheruhr und sie sollte nicht zum Tauchen benutzt
werden.
3) Uhr nach Kontakt mit Salzwasser mit klarem Wasser absplen.
Uhr mit Tuch und warmem Seifenwasser subern.
Bei normaler Benutzung sollte die Batterie eine Lebensdauer von
6 Jahren haben. Die Lebensdauer der Batterie ist abhngig vom tatschlichen Gebrauch.

OPMERKING: Uw horloge is met een vastschroefbare kroon uitgerust

voor grotere waterbestendigheid. Voordat u een tijds- of datuminstelling
bijstelt, moet u de kroon eerst tegen de klok in losschroeven van de kast.

Dankzij de eeuwige kalender van het horloge hoeft u de datum tot 2100
nooit bij te stellen. Het horloge voert automatisch bijstellingen uit voor
korte maanden en schrikkeljaren en toont daardoor altijd de juiste dag
en datum.
De dag en datum zijn in de TX-fabriek vooringesteld. U hoeft alleen de
tijd af te stellen.
Het horloge heeft twee verzonken drukknoppen voor gebruik door een
erkende winkelier of met TX gelieerde onderneming om de dag en
datum na het vervangen van de batterij in te stellen. Verder hebben ze
geen nut.

tijd instellen
De tijd instellen:
1) Trek de kroon naar de buitenste stand. Alle wijzers gaan naar het
einde van hun traject en stellen zich automatisch in. Hierdoor wordt
een mogelijke verkeerde uitlijning van de wijzers gecorrigeerd. De
wijzers geven vervolgens weer de dag, maand en datum aan.
2) Draai de kroon totdat de juiste tijd en datum worden weergegeven.
De dag en datum veranderen automatisch wanneer de tijd middernacht passeert.
3) Druk de kroon naar binnen wanneer u klaar bent.

Verzeker u van de juiste instelling voor AM/PM door te controleren of de

datum om middernacht en niet om twaalf uur s middags verandert.

verstellen voor schrikkeljaar

Om de juiste datum te behouden heeft het horloge een instelling voor
de verstelling van het huidige schrikkeljaar. Deze instelling wordt in de
Timex-fabriek of nadat de batterij is vervangen, uitgevoerd en kan niet
worden veranderd, alleen bekeken.
Voor het bekijken van de verstelling trekt u de kroon naar de middelste
stand. De middelste wijzer toont de verstelling: 1 = 1 jaar na schrikkeljaar;
2 = 2 jaar na schrikkeljaar; 3 = 3 jaar na schrikkeljaar; 4 = schrikkeljaar.
Druk de kroon naar binnen wanneer u klaar bent en de wijzers geven dan
weer de normale weergave van de dag, maand en datum aan.

onderhoud
Uw horloge is waterbestendig tot 10 atm.
Druk onder water op geen enkele knop opdat het horloge
waterbestendig blijft.
Verzeker u ervan dat de kroon stevig in de kast is geschroefd door op de
kroon te drukken en hem tegelijk met de klok mee te draaien.
1) Het horloge is alleen waterbestendig zo lang het glas, de drukknoppen
en de kast intact blijven.
2) Het horloge is geen duikershorloge en mag niet voor duiken worden
gebruikt.
3) Spoel het horloge met zoet water af nadat het aan zout water is
blootgesteld.
Het horloge mag met een doek en een warm zacht sopje worden
schoongemaakt.
De batterij hoort bij normaal gebruik 6 jaar mee te gaan. De werkelijke
levensduur van de batterij varieert al naargelang het werkelijke gebruik.
Wanneer de batterij leeg is, moet u hem onmiddellijk laten vervangen.

Uw TX uurwerk heeft een garantie van TX Watch Company voor gebreken in fabricage
gedurende een periode van twee jaar vanaf de oorspronkelijke aankoopdatum.

TX Watch Company, Inc. mag, naar haar goeddunken, uw horloge door een identiek

NOTA: lorologio dotato di una corona ad avvitamento interno per

offrire una maggiore resistenza allacqua. Prima di regolare qualsiasi
impostazione relativa a ora o data, rilasciare la corona svitandola dalla
cassa con un movimento antiorario.

Grazie alla funzione di calendario perpetuo dellorologio, la data non

ha bisogno di essere regolata fino al 2100. Lorologio tiene automaticamente conto dei mesi brevi e degli anni bisestili, mostrando sempre il
giorno e la data giusti.
Il giorno e la data sono stati impostati presso la fabbrica TX: occorre solo
regolare lora.
Lorologio presenta due pulsanti incassati per luso esclusivo da parte di
un dettagliante autorizzato o di unazienda affiliata TX per impostare il
giorno e la data dopo la sostituzione della batteria. Questi pulsanti non
hanno altro uso.

Per impostare lora
1) Estrarre la corona nella sua posizione esterna. Tutte le lancette indicatrici si muovono fino al termine della loro rivoluzione, regolandosi
automaticamente. In questo modo viene corretto qualsiasi allineamento erroneo delle lancette. Le lancette indicatrici ritornano quindi a
indicare il giorno, il mese e la data.
2) Girare la corona finch non appaiono lora e la data giuste. Il giorno
e la data cambiano automaticamente quando la lettura dellora si
sposta da un lato o dallaltro delle ore 12 (mezzanotte).
3) Spingere in dentro la corona quando si finisce.

Assicurarsi di avere impostato correttamente AM/PM (mattina/

pomeriggio) verificando che la data cambi alla mezzanotte, e non a
mezzogiorno.

compensazione per anno bisestile

Per mantenere corretta la data, lorologio include unimpostazione per la
compensazione dellanno bisestile corrente. Questa impostazione viene
eseguita presso la fabbrica Timex oppure dopo la sostituzione della
batteria, e non pu essere cambiata, ma solo visualizzata.
Per visualizzare la compensazione, estrarre la corona nella sua posizione
intermedia. La lancetta centrale mostra la compensazione: 1 = 1 anno
dopo lanno bisestile; 2 = 2 anni dopo lanno bisestile;
3 = 3 anni dopo lanno bisestile; 4 = anno bisestile. Al termine, spingere
in dentro la corona, e le lancette riprendono la loro normale indicazione
di giorno, mese e data.

1) Lorologio impermeabile solo se la lente, i pulsanti e la cassa restano

intatti.
2) Lorologio non un orologio subacqueo e non va usato per le immersioni.
3) Sciacquare lorologio con acqua dolce dopo lesposizione allacqua
marina.
Lorologio pu essere pulito con un panno e sapone delicato in acqua
tiepida.
La batteria dovrebbe durare per 6 anni di uso normale dellorologio. La
durata effettiva della batteria potrebbe variare a seconda delluso
effettivo.
Quando la batteria si scarica, farla sostituire prontamente. Per la
sostituzione della batteria, si prega di recarsi da un dettagliante

Lorologio ha una resistenza allacqua di 10 ATM.
Per mantenere limpermeabilit, non premere nessun pulsante mentre
ci si trova sottacqua.
Assicurarsi che la corona sia ben avvitata nella cassa premendola
mentre la si muove simultaneamente in senso orario.
