T asks each group to show their picture and
tell the class what is the picture.
T asks the S to spell the word.
-Eg: swimming, piano, reading...etc
T creates a sentence by prompting the S. Eg:
Whose hobby is playing piano?
- Who likes to swim?
- Sheilas hobby is playing piano.
- Mats hobby is swimming.

Activity Play Mime


T asks the S work in pairs.
T gives a strip of paper to each S.
S will have to act out their hobby to their
partner and their partner has to guess it.
Then S are required to write their partners
hobby in the strip of paper.
Eg: 1)Sheenas hobby is
cycling.
2) Hafizs hobby is swimming.
After S have done, they have to paste the
strip of words in a piece of paper.

Activity: About Mickey Mouse


T displays a picture strip on the blackboard
that has 3 pictures about Mickey Mouse
hobby.
T guides by prompting questions about the
scene and sticks key words about the scene.
- Eg: Anyone can guess what is Mickeys
hobby?
-What is Mickey doing in the picture?
- What do you think he likes to do?
-Where he does to play?
- With whom he plays?
T asks the students to write simple sentences
about the pictures by using the words
displayed.
T asks what they have learnt.
-What did we learn today?
-Do you think hobbies are good?
-Name me some of the hobbies that you learnt
today.
T asks the S to paste the piece of that they
have done earlier and they can go around
later to know what their other friends
hobbies are.
