Botn On/Off Display: Situado en el frontal de la moto, en una caja que aloja la
batera de ste sujeta a la araa.
Botn On/Off Motor: Pia sujeta al semimanillar derecho, junto al puo de gas.
Starter: Situado en la parte izquierda de la Pre3, por debajo de la caja del filtro.
Grifo de gasolina: Lo podemos encontrar en el lateral derecho de la BeOn Pre3, a la

altura de la parte final del cubre depsito, justo por debajo de ste.

Display On / Off Button: Located at the front of the bike in a box housing the battery
and holded at the display support.
Engine On / Off Button: Hold on to the right handlebar, near the throttle.

Fuel tap: It is found on the right side of the BeOn Pre3, at the end of the tank cover.

3. MANTENIMIENTO
* Nota:
- El mantenimiento exhaustivo del motor garantiza un funcionamiento correcto del
mismo y una larga vida de los componentes en juego; se recomienda seguir siempre las
indicaciones del fabricante del motor (Yamaha).
- Los periodos de mantenimiento propuestos por el fabricante del motor para su uso en
motocross se han demostrado tiles tambin para el uso de la moto en condiciones de GP.
Como recomendacin adicional, en caso de uso intensivo de la moto en circuito de GP, se
recomienda prestar atencin especial al nivel de aceite motor y cambiar aceite motor y filtro en
intervalos menores de los aconsejados por el fabricante (cada 2 horas de uso aprox.)
- Todo lo que no se especifique en este manual habr de hacerse de acuerdo con el
manual de Yamaha (Ver anexo 5.2).

3. MAINTENANCE AND TIGHTEN TORQUES

* Note:
- An exhaustive engine maintenance will guarantee its correct work and a proper life of
its components. Please, refer to your original Yamaha Owners service manual and follow all
maintenance periods.
- These Original Owners service manuals maintenance periods has been tested and will
be all right for GP track usage.
- Special recommendations, in case the bike will be used intensively as GP, it is
recommended to check Engine oil level regularly and change Engine oil and Filter
before
manufacturers recommendation.(Every 2 hours of GP usage approx.)

- Everything that is not specified in this manual must be done in accordance with the
manufacturer Yamaha (Check Appendix 5.2).

3.5 Inspeccin del Juego de Cadena
En los periodos en los que la moto no ruede, el juego de cadena debe ser comprobado y
ajustado. Tambin ha de ser comprobado el juego despus de ser reemplazada la cadena. La
limpieza regular, lubricacin y ajuste apropiados ayudar a extender la vida til de la cadena.
Con el motor apagado site la moto en un caballete, engranar neutral y medir el juego de la
cadena en la zona superior, en la interseccin basculante-llanta trasera.
Juego de cadena: 14-18 mm al centro del eslabn.
Girar la rueda y comprobar el juego de cadena en varias secciones. Si el juego en alguna de
las secciones incrementa por encima de la medida estndar, puede ser indicativo de que la
cadena se ha estirado y necesita ser reemplazada.
3.5 Drive Chain Slack Inspection
During the break-in period, drive chain slack should be checked and adjusted often. Also check
the drive chain slack after the drive chain replacement. Regular cleaning, lubrication and
proper adjustment will help to extend the service life of the drive chain.
Turn the engine off and place the machine on the maintenance stand. With the transmission in
neutral, measure chain slack at the upper section, at the intersection between swing arm-rear
rim.
Drive chain slack: 14-18 mm from the links center.
Rotate the wheel and chain slack in several sections. If slack in one section increases beyond
the standard measurement, this indicates the chain has stretched and needs to be replaced.
3.6 Tensado de Cadena
Aflojar la tuerca del eje trasero.

Girar el tornillo ajustador en el sentido de las agujas del reloj para incrementar el juego o en
contra del sentido de las agujas para disminuirlo.
Alinear las mismas marcas de referencia en ambos lados de los ajustadores con la parte final
del basculante.
Comprobar la alineacin de las ruedas.
Apretar la tuerca del eje trasero con el par requerido.
Volver a comprobar el juego de la cadena y lubricarla
3.6 Drive Chain Slack Adjustment
Loose the rear axle nut.

Turn the adjusting bolt clockwise to increase slack or counterclockwise to decrease slack.
Align reference marks on both sides of the adjusters with the rear ends of the swingarm.
Check the wheel alignment.
Tighten the rear axle nut to the specified torque.
Recheck the drive chain slack and free wheel rotation. Lubricate the drive chain.
3.7
Comprobacin del nivel de aceite

1- Arranque el motor, calintelo durante unos minutos y luego prelo y espere durante
cinco minutos.
2- Site la moto en una superficie horizontal y mantngala en posicin vertical.
3- Comprobar el nivel de aceite, ste debe de estar en la marca roja (linea horizontal)
del ojo de buey que indica el nivel correcto de aceite o ligeramente por encima, en
ningn caso por debajo.
Capacidad de aceite:
-
Cambio peridico de aceite: 0,8 l
Con substitucin de filtro de aceite: 0,9 l
Cantidad total: 1,0 l
3.7
Checking the oil level

1 - Start the engine, warm it up for a few minutes and then turn it off and wait for five
minutes.
2 - Place the bike on a horizontal surface and hold upright.
3 - Check the oil level, it must be in the red mark (horizontal line) or above in, never
below.
Oil Capacity:
- Periodic oil change: 0,8 l
- With oil filter replacement: 0,9 l
- Total amount: 1,0 l

Procedimiento cambio de aceite

1- Arranque el motor, calintelo durante unos minutos y luego prelo y espere durante
cinco minutos.
2- Site la moto en una superficie horizontal y mantngala en posicin vertical.
3- Coloque un recipiente adecuado debajo del motor.
4- Extraer:
Tapn de llenado. (1)
Tornillo de vaciado del depsito. (2)
Tornillo de vaciado crter de aceite. (3)
Tornillo de vaciado del prefiltro de aceite. (4)
Vacie el crter y el depsito de aceite.

How to change the Oil

1- Start the engine, warm it up for a few minutes and then turn it off and wait for five
minutes.
2-
Place the machine on a horizontal surface and hold upright.
3-
Put a suitable container under the engine.
4-
Remove:
Filler cap. (1)
Drain screw. (2)
Drain screw oil sump. (3)
Drain bolt oil filter element. (4)
Drain the crankcase and oil tank.
5- Extraer:
Abrazadera de la manguera de aceite. (1)
Tornillo (manguera de aceite).
Manguera de aceite. (2)
Prefiltro de aceite. (3)
6- Comprobar:
Prefiltro de aceite, si esta obstruido soplar a presin.
7- Si el filtro ha de ser cambiado durante el cambio de aceite, retirar las siguientes partes
y volver a reinstalar despus:
5- Remove:
Hose Clamp oil. (1)
Screw (oil hose).
Oil hose. (2)
Oil prefilter. (3)
6- Check:
Oil prefilter, if it is clogged, blow it.
7- If you have to change the filter during the oil change, remove these parts and re-install
later:
8- Instalar:
Trica (Nueva)
Prefiltro (9 N/m)
Manguera de aceite
Tornillo de la manguera (8 N/m)
Abrazadera de la manguera (2 N/m)
Arandela de cobre (Nueva)
Tornillo devaciado de aceite del filtro (10 N/m)
Tornillo de vaciado del crter (20 N/m)
Tornillo de vaciado del depsito (18 N/m)
9- Rellenar de aceite y comprobar nivel (ver apartado 3.7)

9- Fill and check oil level (see the point 3.7)
4. DETALLES IMPORTANTES DE MONTAJE

4.1 Como ensamblar el motor en el chasis
Dejar pasado el eje[1] del soporte de culata[A] con la tuerca[2] y el casquillo[3]

en el motor antes de proceder al ensamblaje.
( Aplicar grasa de litio en la tuerca ).
Introducir eje de basculante[4] ensamblando motor, chasis y basculante.

( Aplicar grasa de litio ).
Dejar motor cado hacia delante.
Aproximar los tornillos[5] del soporte[B] delantero motor

(Aplicar grasa de litio).
Subir motor para poder introducir el eje delantero[6] con los casquillos[7]y[8].
( Aplicar grasa de litio al eje ).
Roscar las tuercas[9]y[10] del eje delantero[6] del motor dejndolas libres en
ambos lados.
Montar el soporte
tuercas[12].
de
culata[A]
aproximando
los
tornillos[11]
con
las
Aproximar la tuerca[13] en el soporte de culata[A] .

Aplicar Par de Apriete a la tuerca[14] del Eje de Basculante[4].

Aplicar Par de Apriete a los tornillos[5] del soporte delantero motor[B].

Aplicar Par de Apriete a los tornillos[11] del soporte culata[A] sujetando las
tuercas[12].

Aplicar Par de Apriete a las tuercas[2] y [13] del eje[1] soporte culata[A].

4. IMPORTANT ASSEMBLY DETAILS

4.1 How to assembly engine inside frame
Leave placed the shaft [1] of the cylinder head holder [A] with the nut [2] and
the bushing [3] on the engine before tighten it.
(Apply lithium grease on the nut).
Enter the swingarm shaft [4] assembling engine, chassis and swingarm.
(Apply lithium grease).
Leave fallen forward the engine.
Approximate the front engine support [B] screws [5].

Pull up the engine to enter the front axle [6] with the caps [7] and [8].
(Apply lithium grease to the shaft).
Screw the nuts [9] and [10] on the front axle [6] engine leaving them free on
both sides.
Mount the cylinder head [A] approaching the screws [11] with nuts [12].
Approximate the nut [13] in the cylinder head holder [A].

Apply torque to the nut [14] of the Swingarm axis [4].

Apply the torque the nuts [9] and [10] of the front engine axis [6].

Apply the torque to the screws [5] of the front engine bracket [B].

Apply the torque to the bolts [11] of the cylinder head bracket [A] holding the
nuts [12].

Apply the torque to the nuts [2] and [13] of the cylinder head holder [A] axis
[1].

NOTA IMPORTANTE
Una vez colocados los rodamientos numerados como 1 y 2 y el circlip 3 se insertar el
casquillo 4, con cuidado de ser posicionado correctamente.
De no seguir ste orden, es posible que posteriormente al insertar el rodamiento de
agujas 5 no asiente correctamente o el casquillo 6 que va a continuacin de este desplace los
rodamientos 1 y 2.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Once placed the bearings 1, 2 and the piece 3, will be placed the cap 4, carefully to be
positioned correctly.
If you dont take care to follow this order, when placed the needle bearing 5 is possible
that dont put correctly or when you put the cap 6, the bearings 1 and 2 could move.
4.4 Sistema elctrico

El sistema elctrico est diseado para ser posicionado en el lateral derecho del
vehculo, coincidiendo el planteamiento de ste con la siguiente imagen:
El primer tramo de instalacin se colocar pegando a la pared del chasis, pasando el

cableado entre la pared de este y el soporte de culata. Dejando en la parte delantera los
conectores para switcher, rpm y regulador/controlador y dejando el conector del throttle como
se ve en la imagen.
4.4 Electric system

The electrical system is designed to be positioned on the right side of the vehicle, coinciding
with the image below:
The first part of the system is placed close to the chassis wall, passing the wiring
between the wall and the holder of the cylinder head. Leaving the front connectors to the
switcher, rpm and the rectifier/controller and leaving the throttle connector like in the picture.
En la zona media de la instalacin encontraremos los conectores para el encendido y el

pick up, los cuales vendrn desde el lado opuesto. Se derivar hacia la izquierda el conector
que ir al condensador y por ltimo encontraremos la masa.
En la zona final de la instalacin colocaremos los conectores propios del CDI (el cual
esta colocado debajo del subchasis), as como el condensador.
In the middle part of the main wiring we can find the alternator and pick up connectors,
which are derived from the opposite side. The condenser conector is going from here to the left
side where we can find also the main ground.
At the end of the main wiring we can find the CDI connectors (CDI is placed below the
subframe) and the capacitor.
Fijaremos los cables del sistema elctrico a travs de bridas. Pondremos 2 bridas con
silentblocks para el condensador a parte de otra brida para en conector de ste, por el otro
lado los conectores del CDI tambin irn fijados mediante una brida.
En la zona del chasis utilizaremos 2 bridas, una a cada extremo para fijar los cables del
condensador, pick up y encendido.
We will hold the electrical system wiring with flanges. Two flanges with silentblocks will
hold the condenser and another flange for its connector. One flange will be necessary for CDI
connectors.
In the chassis area we will need 2 flanges, one at each end, holding capacitor,
alternator and the pick up wiring.
En la parte delantera se fijaran los cables del switcher y de las rpm con un pasacables
al chasis, mientras que los conectores del controlador/regulador se protegern de la
temperatura sujetndolos con una brida en una de las orejas del radiador.
Por ltimo conectaremos el display al sensor de temperatura y de rpm, asi como la batera que
la sujetaremos a la araa por medio de dos bridas y la masa que tambin ir sobre sta.
At the front, switcher and rpm wiring will be hold by adhesive holder to chassis while
controller / regulator conectors are protected from the temperature holding them with a flange
to one radiator grommet.
Finally, temperature and rpm sensors will be plugged into display. Battery and main ground
are connected to the display holder by two flanges.
4.5 Caja de filtro
Para montar la caja del filtro ser indispensable desmontar la tapa de culata, para
volver a montarla una vez puesta la caja.
4.5 Filter box
For mounting the filter box will be necessary to remove the rocker cover, and
reassemble it again once you have mounted the box.
Tener cuidado de pasar los cables como se indica en la foto, para evitar posibles cortes
debido a la fibra de la caja.
Take care about passing wiring as shown in the photo avoiding it could be broken by
the filter box.
