Early Birds catch the dining bargain

Our kitchen is rapidly gaining a reputation for fantastic
food at fabulous prices, and weve already received
praise for some of our special themed evenings.
Now we are offering hungry diners a special deal if they
want to sate their appetites in the evening - as long as
they order between 5pm and 7pm. Our new Early Bird
Supper promotion allows guests to select two courses
from our menu or specials board for just 12.95 per person - although please note that some exclusions apply
to this offer.
This is a fantastic offer if you are thinking of attending
one of our regular events at The Queens Head, such as
our quiz nights, darts matches or bridge evenings, because it offers you the chance to indulge in our delicious
menu at a bargain price before you settle down to the
serious business of the competition in hand.
We strive to delight diners with locally sourced, homecooked food, so if you havent already sampled our
dishes, why not use this special offer to give them a try?

We are delighted to be joining forces with

the much-acclaimed Chalke Valley
Stores to celebrate a very special valley
event at 5.30pm on Thursday, December
4.
This is when the community will come
together to light the Christmas tree in an
event that could also raise money for
charity.
Dubbed the HubnPub Christmas Evening, the special festive occasion will see
the lights turned on at the tree, which is
due to be situated near the hub (Chalke
Valley Stores) and the pub (your friendly,
local inn).
The aim is to bring local villagers to-

gether to enjoy a Christmas evening of

mince pies, hot chocolate, mulled wine
and biscuits.
The tree is being kindly donated by
Prescombe Farm in Ebbesbourne Wake,
while entertainment will be provided by
pupils from Broad Chalke Primary School,
who have agreed to sing carols around the
tree as the lights are turned on.
There is no charge for the event, however donations to cover the costs would
be welcomed. Any extra funds will be
donated to local charities.
The Queens Head is now taking bookings for its Christmas Party menu as well
as for lunch on Christmas Day.
